all right everyone this is the last four out of four last video on the knives and this is not one that anybody asks for but I said why not throw it a little pride and joy of mine it's called the duck now I hope I'm pronouncing it right from Helene I know I'm not pronouncing Haley probably right but we all understand ourselves or maybe my Norwegian friend Norwegian bushcraft can tell me if I'm pronouncing these right this is the dacha and it's a folder this was given to me by my wife one Christmas right comes with a sheet as you can very well see nice sheath now it's not a Spyderco or a bench made or a spring-assisted right it's a traditional folder this is what looks like now the scales do not come this way I played around with it usually it comes in a vase a curly birch all right because Helle still make each knife handmade and this type of scale would come in a very light yellowish type of color and you know what the curly birch usually but this one did not come with nothing almost I just had a little bit of curls here and the rest was just so plain so I didn't like it and I decided to satisfy myself and put it to my taste now this maybe not everyone

these tastes but I certainly like it kind of you know old style now this is a knife that I do not use and have not used and probably never will use what I done very simple I played around with you know a little bit of burning time and what do you call it a stain you know sanded between coats and you know just done done until it came out like I wanted to and if you do try and do this don't burn the wood too much because I put one last little thin coat of linseed oil to protect the oil and if you burn the wood too much your oil will not sink into the wood and thus not protect it but this is how it came out and I'm pretty pleased with it typical blade shape of most of Hailey's knives Scandi grind this one comes with their typical laminated steel now again if you ask me to explain what laminated steel is I'm not a hundred percent sure so I will not go into it but I'm sure one of you guys do know and if you do please put in the comments for everyone to see now let me wipe my little fingers here off so your typical Helly blade pretty cool well I certainly like it just to show you my Harding to show you the difference from heli also now the blade is a three inch and the handle is around four four and a quarter I guess so there she is now I was very surprised though when I got this oh it's got a one one eighth of an inch spine on it but I was very surprised at the tip of the blade about from here to the tip was dull like never sharpen hmm so I took my time and I sharpened it because I didn't want to scratch it but other than that love it just love it and it's got some type of a spring type of thing I'm no expert but that's what it is so don't ask me the price I never looked into it but I'm pretty sure knowing the price of the other Ellie's it must be a little expensive but this is the guy I was wanting to show you guys and while I'm at it this knife here I've had this knife Believe It or Not for at least six years at least six years after the first year I decided to stop using it not because it's not a good knife it's an excellent knife easy to control easy to sharpen and if you like the traditional style is awesome I like it that's just one of those knives I decide to stop using for to keep it you know not to damage it or anything I don't know why yet but someday I certainly will excellent knife and by the way one last one there I go showing you other knives again sorry about that

my wife that has more lies than I do the same time I got this one I bought one for her and I'm showing this for you ladies out there excellent little tool XO no tool this is the Odell o de L from heli another wonderful little it's small its lightweight again it's just an amazing little guy and it still has the 1/8 of an inch spine same laminated steel and a few ladies out there this is a little bit you know maybe four men maybe a little small but it's great my wife is her favorite knife alright that's enough that's enough anyway hope you like these I got one more thing to show you guys and we'll conclude so to conclude this series the three knives that you will see me use and play around the bush the most will be buco right my little homemade neck knife made from a youtube friend and my main chunk of Steel right this is the made by Cody adventure sworn I believe he calls this the classic but with some very minor modifications of my own or very much you're very important to me again if this the first time you watch one of my videos sorry about that I've got videos on all of them just go in my channel playlists bushcraft knives and you'll have pretty much all your questions answered and I will not make another review this one if there are some of you that never seen this one and interested in seeing the review what I will do to make it easy for you I will put a video response now give me some time

maybe a day or two after the video is uploaded you can maybe come back but I will put a video response to this video concerning this knife so if you're interested in watching it or seeing it it's going to be there so this is final final final again thank you all Oh for your comments great the likes subscriptions you guys are just amazing next time we'll probably go in the bush because I'm getting kind of hungry so stay tuned
