I think I'll call it there for the day hi there guys is Mike from mcq bushcraft here and welcome to another video what would be the end of another video it's a bit of a late point in the day to introduce myself but for those of you follow the channel I'm sure you know me well enough by now those in use of the channel the channel is all about hunting this is just one of the things I do do a lot of rough shooting for small game like with pigeon grey squirrel pheasant when in season also rabbit as well just things that I eat usually and yeah it's been a fairly successful day nice day to shoot started off pretty poor weather very windy but now nice Sun good contrast good to be in the shadows and shoot out of the fishbowl like set up toys you look for where you got trees and the pigeons come overhead they really don't see till the last minute provided you stay still but if you're out in the open I'd probably advise you wear a hat and gloves sometimes I just like to have my hands-free and not have anything on my heads because they just prefer it really for visual perspective of being able to see in for comfort which is one of the main things really about coming out and doing this kind of thing but I hope you enjoyed the video thanks for watching going to get these birds back home going to get them cooled down I'll dress them tomorrow so thanks again and I'll see you very soon in another video take care guys [Music]

MCQBushcraft

I'm a UK based outdoorsman who started hunting and fishing with my friends when I was young.

Educating yourself about your surroundings and having the core skills to sustain yourself using your environment is a lost curriculum in the United Kingdom. We are well provided for, so well that "why do anything if somebody else will do it for you". This lifestyle has drastically disconnected people from having the knowledge and skills required to spend even one night in the woods and not get hungry.

I love being outdoors and have never lost the desire to learn and practice skills that I get a sense of natural connection from. Hunting hangs controversy in the minds of many, but in my eyes there is nothing more natural if you choose to eat meat. I appreciate that not everybody hunts in moderation though.
