Bike Path Philosophy Ramble

Description

After identifying plants, Robby drops some philosophical thoughts - as is typical for us.

For those who, for some reason or other, care about what we have to say.

Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

so I just learned about plants a lot about plants today that I knew nothing about before thanks to Andrews video I was just thinking like it's weird how we have so much knowledge about things that are technically part of our world like the human were also like I know who kanye west is right but I don't like I just now learned today what burdock was and that aspirin it comes from the willow tree and it just kind of like I also kind of offends me that I know that but I don't know something like useful and there's really no escaping it you know I really get the feeling that like there's so much more to the world than we realize it's all this video of this dude who was visiting like the Sun Kalahari Bushmen as they're known in like Namibia and they were hunting and they just they knew exactly where a deer at run to and where it had been killed by a Jaguar or something just based on like what they saw in the land the day after yeah it it's really weird because we're just so we're like all in our minds it's not we really have a poor relationship with the external world right now we're just like completely in internal worlds like even like using our phones right that's completely a mental world when you're like using your phone like you're making you're doing things and you're making connections and stuff but it's not within like a physical space it's like a completely mental space yeah there's so much emphasis on that too not so much emphasis on people actually doing things in the physical world

and I always wondered what it's like to be able to like track animals and stuff and I imagine since I know how to ID plants would probably be just like an the same type of liked learning curve as learning how to identify plants yeah it's very much like learning a language because like so you see a foreign language and it all the words just look the same and when you when you walk around you see all these leaves they all look the same right until you actually know what it is and it's suddenly revealed to you it's really weird it almost even though it's just an awareness it almost makes things look do find yourself more sensitive to flavors in a joint food more and there's no better way to cook bacon then over an open fire

bacon is ready
