after months without rain we finally had some storms in the valley which meant there was bound to be some snow up in the mountains so we needed to check it out

so I think the last time I recorded anything was when we went to Yosemite and that was a lot different than this but I'm still here in California still hiking but this time I have more people to hike with isn't that right Allie she's carrying she's camera shy all right we're going as soon as we started hiking up the mountainside we remember just how steep it was thick mine kind of fell off so I may need to very true yeah this is definitely not easy

oh here's some more skiers I hear more SKUs

I know it says right down that hill yeah good luck he was so cool you see that we reached the top of the first hill something we've done many times before but instead of taking our usual path that led the notch and the chair lifts we decided to make a left and head to San Antonio Falls now by no means am i a stranger to snow I grew up defending Echo Base from the Imperial Stormtroopers with Andrew on our snow days but I gotta say there's nothing quite like snow in the mountains it brings out this ethereal light that just seems to engulf the surrounding cliffs and show just how rugged a landscape this place really is staring at us in the face and it's absolutely breathtaking start some hikers and they told us that uh there's some bears that they saw up top there I think it'd be cool to run with some bears but I don't have my bear spray so maybe we'll save that further they're ferocious

maneuvering your way to the base of the waterfall in a foot of snow was no small feat

but somehow we made it there without any broken bones or cameras what do you see the waterfall

okay

we made our way back down to maker camp for the sounds of cars and the smell of exhaust reminded us just how close we were to the city regardless of how little time we spent here it's always great to go back in the mountains even if it is just for a little bit you
