hello guys is Nick from HF survival school thank you for joining me today we'll be making a review on a Spanish survival knife called the kudamon mt5 if you didn't know cumin is a Spanish knife manufacturer who has been in the business for more than 25 years the mt5 has black micarta handles and red liners the knife overall weights 247 grams blade length is 11 centimeters and the overall length is 22 point five centimeters blade thickness is five point 33 millimeters it has a drop-point blade the knife is full tank which means that the blade goes all the way to the end of the handle this steel of this knife is in 695 bottler and it has a full flat grind so as you see the knife has two holes this means that you can attach it to a stick and make a really deadly sphere hardness of the blade is 60 Rockwell so now enough with this specs

let's go and do some work with this knife it has two linear tools and I have added some cordage so that I have a better grip for chopping tasks as you see it is a great chopper because the knife has a full flat grind and it has a kind of triangular shape it is really good at patterning as you see it can make really fine feather sticks I have received this knife in April maybe even earlier when I took it out of the box it was a razor sharp I could cut my hair with it and since then I have not sharpened it even once and as you see it is pretty sharp so this in 695 baller still is really good at keeping the edge even though I have been abusing this knife since I received it and I only now decided to make a review of it this bohler n690 5 is the same still as 440c it has a really sharp spine which means that you can strike a Ferro rod with no problem you can also use this jim pink as you see no problems at all max is really mad he saw something fell off the tree it was a branch and he is really curious what was it so now let's talk about the sheath when you ordered you have two options you can order a Kydex sheath or you can order this really thick black leather sheath I of course went with the later you can put it on your belt like this horizontally or you can also put it on your belt like this vertically I think this horizontal mount is called the Scout mount and I really like it because when I sit down or when I bend down it doesn't bother you at all and it is really easy to take the knife off and to put the knife in so guys I think that will be all for today I really like this knife and I recommend it to you with my both thumbs up I will include the link to their site down the description you should check them out they have really high quality and really good knives if you liked this video please give it a thumbs up subscribe to my youtube channel and you will have me very much by sharing this video on your social media new videos coming as soon as I can thank you for watching have a nice day
