hey guys what's up so it's been a minute since I've made a video today I figured I would take the opportunity to update you guys about what happened on the Arizona Trail and what's next you

so as most of you guys might know from watching my videos or following me on Instagram on October 24th I started a through ride of the Arizona Trail riding from the Utah border to the Mexico border about 750 miles unfortunately everything didn't go as planned on October 24th I did in fact start from Utah and I got in 250 miles and had to pull off of the trail I've been getting a lot of comments questions messages on my youtube channel on my Instagram on my facebook about what exactly happened and how I'm doing so what happened was I started from Utah on October 24th I was averaging about 50 miles a day I got to the Grand Canyon the North Rim I did a rim to rim hike without my bike I had it showed around the canyon and in the process of coming up the South Rim I retour my meniscus in my right knee so I took a day off on the South Rim to rest it I let everything rest up it didn't exactly feel right when I left that day but me being stubborn and hell-bent on bike packing the Arizona Trail I took off and headed for Flagstaff next hundred miles to Flagstaff I was having a lot of pain in my knee but again being stubborn I pushed through it when I got to Flagstaff I took another day off to rest my knee and when I left Flagstaff I got about 10 miles and my knee swelled up to the size of a softball and I was in much pain wanting to continue my dentures in the future for you guys I pulled off the trail I did what was best for my knee and my body and I pulled off the turf all that being said I at 250 miles of the Arizona Trail and even though I had to pull off it was totally worth it I had an amazing time had trip the rim to rim hike even though it hurt me and dropped me off the trail was probably one of the greatest hikes I've ever done in my life it really opened my eyes got me thinkin it was a really spiritual journey hiking the room to room so I'm really grateful for what the Arizona Trail did give me in those 250 miles but all that being said I am now back back here in Albuquerque back with snuggles and we have a lot of new things coming up for the end of this year and then for 2017 a ton more adventures videos gear reviews traveling a lot of things coming up so I figured I'd throw you guys in on a few of the things we have going on so number one snuggles I have been working insanely hard on getting tons of new media on Darwin on the trail comm so if you haven't been over there in a while go over and check it out we've added a bunch of new things a ton new photos there is a full on trips section where we have cataloged and archived some of our trip reports from the past so make sure you check that out there's a new support page we are currently trying to buy some new video equipment so I can be making some new better looking videos for you guys doing more in depth gear reviews and better adventures so check that out if you guys are interested another big thing that snows and I have decided to do is buy the first of the year sometime in January we'll be self publishing a Travel Guide so a Travel Guide on all of our tips and tricks about traveling to national parks being on the road living out of a van through hiking and doing a lot more adventures so keep an eye out for that again that's going to be due out early 2017 you'll be able to download it from Amazon the iBooks store and a couple other places so also be doing a lot more smaller trip videos for you guys cataloging some of me and snuggles adventures and trips throughout this next year so definitely keep an eye out for that again doing a roll a new media a lot of new videos photos blog post so just rolling out a ton of stuff and then at the end of next year the end of 2017 snows and I have decided to take off yet again and do some more traveling through national parks and hit the road

so as an answer to a bunch of your questions my knee is doing much much better now that I'm off the trail I've taken about a week and a half off of the knee and doing any hiking riding running any of that and it's really healing up nice

just yesterday actually I jumped back on the bike for the first time all my pain has gone away so that's coming along really nice I'm also going to be having a doctor really look into it and see if there's anything I can do to prevent that in the future again make sure you go over and check out Darwin on the trail comm to see all that new media that smells and I've been working on and also if you haven't got a chance go check me out on Instagram follow me on Instagram been posting a lot of new pictures of gear reviews some products that I've been getting to do and a lot more stuff so make sure you check that out too

alright guys so hopefully that filled you in on everything that I have going on thanks for all your support while I was on the Arizona Trail and when I was getting off the Arizona Trail all your awesome comments questions likes again the knee is doing a hell of a lot better and I hope to be able to that a lot more media for you guys within the coming year so like or dislike this video subscribe to my channel if you haven't already and as always thank you so much for watching

you

At the end of 2014 my wife Snuggles & I decided to quit our jobs, sell 95% of the things we own, & leave our home town for good in search of adventure, culture, & the true meaning of happiness. We bought a van, traveled all over the country & hiked the entire Appalachian Trail (2189.2 miles). We are still seeking adventure in new places, meeting new people, trying new food & drink, & discovering all that we can.

This Channel has developed into a main hub for aspiring hikers & current hikers to gain info on a wide variety of Trail Topics. With a series of Trip Videos, Q&A, Tip Videos, & Gear Reviews, I aim to get you out on the trail and hiking more!
