Hadrian's Wall Backpacking Trip | Coast to Coast | Day 1

Description

The latest challenge I planned was the Hadrians wall path running from Carlisle to Newcastle, we added a few extra miles to make it a coast to coast hike. Camping along the way, hiking 90 miles in 5 days was not easy, from what I gather not many do it that fast with full camping packs on so it was a great challenge. An emotional roller coaster as we loose members of the team as we go and make friends as well, check it out!

one half of my trail mix it's all gone wrong Brian was in - no no no man Choi what's going on am I just having a lovely summer barbecue I don't do barbecue reviews but if I did do barbecue reviews probably via turnout and mate I should start off a bit weaker than I should not nothing Larry Schwimmer welcome to a Jewish war not even a haters for you hello people and welcome to another video this is the trip of the year we are doing Hadrian's Wall we plan to do it in five days we haven't got the best weather I'll be honest it's forecast rain pretty much all week well it's off and on and so it's we think we're gonna be all right today's the first day obviously and today is the worst weather is the longest miles we are doing 80 miles today so it's our longest day pretty tired already and we said in the caravan last night so we had a bit of a scuffle we started off probably already cuz we do not have a three-set that well and was about 80 miles to do and the worst weight of the trip but hey let me introduce you to the pack the chosen comrades for this trip are Charlie Chuck Norris Jordan Lam long long since appeared got no socks yes okay I met you put your Crocs this is it we're leaving the popemobile and we're we're gonna be off to find the start that started the trail very shortly wishes look because we're gonna need it oh yeah check hedge or dirty shirt yeah yeah come on Pierre okay folks here is the official start I'll do the whole graph right you can do anything Wallsend 84 miles but we've got a bit more to go possible then done to the other coast we want to do official coves to coast so when Pierce took his photo Willie will get underway before collapsing with Charlie's just filling in the official little logbook well you're putting right I just put the date and I put the Packers are out I'm gonna put the perhaps arrived

it's just unpacking his bag for the tenth time oh these are the stumps that we don't have a book for what I do you know you have a hand mover we've collected our first stump at the banks we are stumping in this walking guy that I got it's actually a really fantastic guide

it's basically walks you through all the historical points and stuff that we're gonna see along the way and it also comes with an OS math booklet it was a little bit pricey but it was definitely worth the money it's gonna it's gonna give the trip a little bit more meaning as we go and then kind of read about history as we go so we've got the stumps we're gonna collect I think there's 13 stumps if we make it to the end kumarkan you we're gonna make it to the end they repealed opium or not just a package bag my stop packing in five days like so it begins

that right there is the river of Eden this is the first time we've seen it and we're now following that for the next several kilometers or so probably bit three kilometers I'm guessing and going around the north side of Carlisle and then go to the fair a bit to go as we get to the camp it's a long day today and we are starting to feel it Jordan's face says it all something again right look come on in someone there asked the King on your window Mary Queen of Scots diary documents the first game of football played at this castle I also they go it's over the dog welcome back times are pretty hard right now it's a game like it's the evening roughly about or PASOK's I know I'm feeling pretty rough I'm feeling pretty mentally tired physically I feel luckier Pete's feeling mentally battered he's just keeping up slowly and then the teachers head there all right put him go ahead of schedule not sure what that's about we're ahead of schedule because I'd need estimators to get to come from nine o'clock like I said at the beginning it's gonna be a long day and eta is currently about in seven o'clock and in ten eleven then seven o'clock way Jordan nearly died for them yeah three tough conversations have gone quiet and everyone spend they're booked at least the rain estate away where there were four cuts pretty heavy rain all day and we haven't had any so we've been pretty lucky no complaints looking forward to getting the company eating Ethan dinner now we finally arrived a camp which feels like forever bless those 12 the past like two kilometers have just took those three years but well cause it wasn't it was that was way more than two kilometers ridiculous and what we've been doing by rich hey rich Richard brought Richard brought cake so Richard happen to get some food down first of all it's goddamn cake everyone's expecting their feet three
