CompressLite Jacket By Craghoppers Review

Description

So here is my favorite garment from the Craghoppers range, the Compresslite Jacket, honestly a very impressive jacket, a great amount of insulation for the weight and pack size, perfect for any traveler!

hello people and welcome to another video today we're gonna be doing a full review of the capresso jacket from crack hopper

so going straight through I've had this jacket full or maybe a month or so names I took it to Norway and that was the main reason cried off that certainly this jacket was to use throughout that trip and as a total overview I would say that I am entirely impressed with this jacket I genuinely genuinely liked it and when the main aspects of it is the how small it packs down I mean this jacket wall it goes to roughly about that kind of size packs into any rucksack and it's just incredible in terms of what you get for the weight and the pack size and so the reason I wanted this jacket particularly was before those cold nights and those cold mornings even in the summer months and you can wake up in the morning it can be quite chilly and so I wanted something I can keep him a rucksack and I'm not necessarily gonna wear on the trail this would be for to warm to wear on the trail but it was absolutely perfect for in the morning when I got up pop it on and you literally off toasty warm and I also slept in this quite a few nights it's basically a wearable sleeping die which is incredible one of the main kind of key features of this jacket is that it's got a they call it the compress fill filament to fill the jacket and gram for gram it's got the site near and off the same properties of daily which is actually fantastic I mean if you look at a down jacket and the price compared to this one there's not much in it for me I'd probably go for this one every day of the week so we'll start to work over the jacket now and I'll kind of show you some of the features it's pretty simple design to be honest fully it is what it is it does the job well so it hasn't got any internal pockets or anything like that it's just all filled with its best insulation it's got two pockets on air on the finest oeid of year they're not going to handle all the pockets but they do find a seat actually quite nice on the body but I'll just actually use those to keep my phone and stuff in home during the night time in the morning because they we all know that your electronic ticket sucked chilly so keep those in there working your way up you've obviously got your central zip really nice if one is actually it's only it's only a plastic zip or a plastic runner with a metal Z but it doesn't snag or anything the worst thing that I've done a good Jackie's a slugging Z so he does actually work really poised if I'm working off the zip back circles right the white under your cheek which is perfect I mean some some collars you can't get in with this you can get in really not quite nicely it's gonna last occasion hood so you can actually get in there it's actually quite noisily I slept with my dog so and it doesn't kind of hinder it at all it's quite nice in terms of that take that off walking up the Koufos you got elasticated cuffs no bigger they're just the guise of keeping your other layers inside and just keeping that warm air in and then working down you've got an adjustable waist you got elastic made your waist again to keep that warm air in and so yeah it's quite a simple jacket it's not gonna be a very ruling review this one because it eats it does just it does what it says on the tin or just pack it up into its into its little compression sack now just to show you how small it we go I don't know exactly statistics on how much it weighs probably get somewhere around the 200 to 300 drop off he doesn't go die anywhere on the websites so yeah this off no okay so here's the the compression stuff sack at me you can tell from that exactly very small on here it says boy weight windproof thermal water resistant downs roof and security locking pockets so we'll take this off now and I want to show you how I pack it away first of all I see people it's gonna be a bit of a mishmash but we'll see what we can do as he built because it just makes it easier it's about to pack away get your sleeves in fold the hood down grab it there at the food stop there he's a tight fit you know you have got to kind of work it in there well it's not difficult for me it's done some jackets just off you have to pack about you really have to push in it's neon it possible this one goes here not too bad you want to get to the top bit and look underneath to work there a different method of doing it today I'm in a table to push down on she goes so the top it's a little bit tough to get in just got to work with it and then cinch it up surprise I did they actually stand it up there you go then once it's packed just kind of manipulate it a little bit just to get into shape but there you go you can see how small that actually is I mean that's that's nothing anyways so yeah all in all I am really really impressed with this compress light jacket and the 50 packs away you know some jackets you have to kind of roll up and scrunch up to show me your back book I can see in your rucksack and you won't see until you need it and if you don't need it it's not exactly a lot of extra weight to be carrying so there you go that's a good fresh light Jackie from crack copper thanks for watching and I'll see you again very very soon
