After an attempt last year at sleeping out in just a wool blanket at this time of a year and freezing my ass off, I decided to come back with a vengeance and try again. See how it goes!

hello people and welcome to another video I know it again with Jack McCormick he's over there say hello hello and and within a wool blanket of lighter and we're pretty much planning to do just solely wool blanket on the floor with a long log fire in between us it's April so it's dropping to a roughly about five degrees somewhere between five to freezing at night so it's still pretty cold and I think something similar to this last year and I was freezing cold so I've come back with a vengeance some appliances even like I said a bigger fire long log fire and we'll see how it fares yeah and bring you along for the ride right so I don't know better jack but I'm really excited about how gorgeous the weather is pretty much every single time I ever come camping it pisses Demi right most of the time relentlessly so I'm really psyched about the fact that all four days I'm out here it's gorgeous weather mean jack doing this Alvin officer tonight the wool blankets and then I'm here for another two nights and their Charlie's going to join me but Jack's gotta go home unfortunately

Oh try chocolate is your hot little bit drinkable I don't know most people drinkable is my firm about that oh you're one of those windows wait until Italy for more I'm forever spitting coughing koster all of the buzz going okay so we're going to start collecting the debris and leaf litter for our brows bed now and we both gotta do one jux doing slightly different to me he's got two logs over there which is going to fill the space in between with alyssa and I'm gonna put my tarp down and stuff underneath the top the glitter so we're going to use the top to collect the leaves and carry them over it's going to take a walk we need a lot it's it's probably going to be a cold night with probably freezing cold sore so just fill the whole thing like we've got all they stop moving

yet some in like smaller ones are doing a problem are they fucking wheelchair one bed i think maybe all right so we're thinking this might be near enough one bed without a little lie down on it you've got a bargain price to bring to inflation you got more more tomorrow right would too can I say something before we do yeah I reckon personally I think you need to try and contain them in some way if they're not blocked in by some bus wire we suggest in the top where are you because if they're not contained they're just going to spread and I'm gonna end up in the middle yeah do you want to try the top idea y lo all on the top you're thinking of that you're going to lose no more than that to people I don't add any means that you'll need that much to be honest sport and then more than a bit that's basically asleep yeah technically speaking that's gonna be if you did right yeah yeah oh man did right firing the can bust a cap it off this is mental what do we do be 20 your thermarest when you get your firmer one blank it like that I'm gonna wrap myself up in the center and then I'll throw the top layer of that over right and then I've got all my layers as office so there's the plan is a bit of a difference in how both me and Jack of sleeping i'll show you now you see it okay right so this is Jack's bed jux why we've done here me alright and so either side I've got sort of two two bunches either so I got one there a bit already can see that one just there yeah I sort of just keeping the leaves property so just like Nick Spence the office so I spilling over the side a little bit we won't be able to completely avoid duck soup compact them all in compress them down so I've got like one probably four inches yes not gonna be for your facebook and then the way I'll sleep is then so I've got two more blankets where is what Brian's got the two in the top so I'm going to sleep with one side of the wall blanket down I've got a second here I'm gonna actually wrap myself up in and then this side he is gonna get thrown over me probably reverse the other way so the flap this side sure I've got the warmth from the fire yeah oh yeah right yeah and then the other side oh come on and I haven't got branches holding my knee but I have got the top holding in so I'm gonna lie on there as you saw earlier and then this ends gonna flap over me at the end from illustration go on then yeah yes doesn't say I'm got branching you decide of evil these news or belief lit up and you've got to fold there since it's not going to escape that soy and theoretically my only issue is going to be where I'm going on here I'm in bubble blanket obviously I'm going to have a few leaves because once or more up to my wall blanket this is going to come over if that starts in case it rained really theoretically I'm not gonna do that I mess it right miles off to carry to you oh yeah hopefully we're not for eating it so it ok so we're currently in the process of gathering firewood and we've got a fair amount i'll show you when we get back to camp and i'm looking to try and get rid of want to get this how to do this with camera oh no that way there we go i want to get that m that birch tree therefore can throw a place you don't see if we go on get this on camera talk about the floor shots focus all about the four tops right

this shot to take off I think we're gonna have to make ourselves a rule that we never put more not 100 sensual days you always lame more lame a wool blanket down there I've got one this is a double which is it's not massively thick it's relatively clean actually and then I've got a queen-size this thing is just like rocket power right take it seriously it's thick enough so I'm hoping but saying that last year I did an overnighter with just these two a no foyer and I pretty much froze to death so it's not ideal so we still rely on the fire quite heavily go out with the wood store

look at the magic okay you can't see me but we are like we both lie next to the air the long log fire I'm just going to settle down into our bros bags now and we're slowly heating up the bros I'm a little bit cold underneath of the meat my top is actually quite nice and warm there so don't think I've compressed the rose and it's just there's not much there than at what figured out but we'll bring you back probably in the middle of night when we freeze to death and I'll let you know how is school going on but so far we've been pretty cush all night I'm a mean bully late let's see other night fair good night it's okay this is no to update number one and probably the only one to be honest yeah it's currently four o'clock at night it is the coldest part of the night right now and we're both off right there funny enough we're not bad thought because we're doing and up until this point we've both been on off sleeping maintaining the fire and it took us a while to get used to the Des Moines I've just kind of drifting in and out and just kind of topping the fire up throw another log on from time to time we've both just had a good couple of hours solid sleep and and Jax just woke up just before the fire properly died down and he had to get up and throw some small bits on but it's going to getting out so this is gonna suck hairy sue the morning now call this part of the night bought it isn't too bad actually I'm think I'm arroyo Jax did in a little bit bull and I think plumber I think you cool down a little bit quicker than i did just cuz i was always all right I only welcome tired you which is unusual Connelly cold first put him lucky it's currently one degree one degree yeah so we all the coldest pull of it all yeah 25 for in it's one degree yeah I'm not cold I'm just I've definitely learned something about layering system it's all that layers and I don't know it but we'll talk more about that in the oil you
