hello people and welcome to another video and this is episode 1 have a series and I beg to start and two series I've been meaning to make for a long long time and the neighbor he is going to be called new gear a new idea especially working on the point of all the gear no idea kind of thing and but basically I boy I require a lot of kids not just kids also a lot of ideas and a lot of and development in my equipment and it's something like we mean to share with you for literally like two or three years am I had this idea practically pretty much when I story the channel others I've just never done it I am I'm definitely at a place now in my outdoor Korea ho it's not really career but you know I mean em where I really finding that the small things are the big things and I'm really into those small game-changing ideas now I've seem to both my light white and my bushcraft kit got to a place where I'm really happy with them and it's the really small things I'm changing at note and really following big differences and it's just making the whole idea of going at all and that much easier so I'm gonna start this series every month but we don't go to video and i'm going to share with you what I bought new and what acquired new or new orders i'm developing or new things i'm making some months there might be a lot of the month so they might be loads this month particularly i've got coops to show you em but it's these kind of videos that i watch more often than not know as it's the ones that the ones that you really learn a lot from a finer the videos that you can really get a lot from and implement into your own kit and very easily because it's someone just sitting in front of a camera telling you what's good what they're finding really good right now and it's just it's just throwing ideas at you guys so you control yourselves it saves you're watching a lot of other videos and just trying to join Pete bit same so I'm going to get shiny to me and I'm sure I stopped going through a few other things and I've got recently and what I did I've come up with it great i love it worth mentioning a few of these things i didn't pay for and I've got no shame in that companies do send these things now my channel is at a point where that does happen and and like I said no God no shame in that it's perfectly trying out new gear and the people are willing to send you and I'll give you my honest opinion on those things as well so without further ado let's get on this and to remove about all the stuff on there almost over here so I was bringing my backpack this is my hard-won backpack for anyone who's interested about this cup of walnuts it but an issue all had and what a backpacking hiking is my mapping system no I do like to purchase maps and I'm some people print them off and ID like to purchase maps to liked how the collection I like to be able to open them up and really have a scale around and decide where I want to do and what routes and want to go on the issue with that oh oh the dog is going mental it's okay it was the postman anyway the issue I have with that is that I don like getting my big map out obviously adores it's very convenient so what I started to do what I want always done is I thought I've caught photocopy the maps but then he had the issue with he bought this piece of a4 paper and he can't afford in it and it just gets ruined but in a couple days each room so I've called the system started to laminating I'm ups this is a iphone papi so if it's a small walks if it's a day walk if your hunt I five if i'm doing like a week away i can have a couple of sheets of a4 and just alternative three a nice as up as I go off the map and enter a new page but the system of point with is put my backpack on roughly so you can imagine what a lot my bags on like that and then my map he's hanging actually there right said the way it's not bothering me it doesn't actually blow around in the windows which you might think it does but see that right thing there it's on the top it's on it it's not like a little pulley system it's got I want me to put it on it so when I'm walking up walking along mother mail business I'll care in the world I'll need my map you scrub it I can read it it goes back at the way now but then about you go able do any experience with not reading that's a game changer because well the only other option is how about it round neck in one of those waterproof cases it's just half a nightmare like it's twisted round you flopping around your face in the wind so frustrating I can't stand it that thing is incredible I'm telling you I'm really really pleased and I don't even know how I'll come up with the idea but it just worked very well and there's a perfect little price as a put there's a little problem a fabric that I can pick on to an that backpack and so really happy with that so it also means i can keep all the laminated copies they're not going to get ruined and i can keep them all foiled and then like it for everyone i go back to apply so just go through my files find the map and i'm off so yeah that's the first thing and next up I'm going to hit one of the other products are being sent recently it's by company called TCT they called the camping trial a pretty small company but there are these products which are dry bags I haven't used them yet I've literally only received them a better week ago however slowly drive by just something I have not got and I've got a lot of lightweight and kinda thin nylon not annoying on em thing like Cuban fiber type material and draw bars I used for backpacking I don't make it the hardware in a thick these things are designed for canoeing really i really like water sports they're so thick and durable and but they're cool hey have sent me a few different ones to try and test it because they're a new product so I've got five liter 10 saybrook I didn't expect this many I got this so I've got 25 meters got another 5 litre one yellow they're good they're a nice size they're very good for EM kind of organizing your kids but then they've got these ones these are cool Matt like this is a 20 litre drawback so these are the kinda thing you put your books up to keep you know you to learn your books out with nothing but the cool feature is to have this valve system on there basically what that I labels you to do is once you've filled the bag with all your equipment you can open the valve and squeeze all the air out like a bucket you see it and that really saves a lot of space in your back and they've also got this window on the back as well so you can see what equipment you were in there so you've got a few bags you can easily have I did four words in there and they also have a d-rings as well so you can they come with like a structure you can rig a mop so you can carry them solely if you need to witches it's good to know so yeah I've got one of them another warning black and then have got more droid x girl dog to do so yeah but I've got to canoe trip this year so they're definitely going to get tested and used and so I'm really grateful for that so thank you to Patrick force any of those but yeah that's one thing and the just a solid man you can tell we gonna watch you can really feel but I really thick fabric and I've been like rubberized material so I'm really looking forward to using nose and you know the glasses well could you just tell em roi although they did also send me I wasn't expecting it at all but they set me don't some my proper cells which is cool to you are for songs by proper time I mean that's like a football and towel for one thing I'm really cuz it enough is this mini towel it's a tiny little with you pack setting lifting it's actually a reasonable size so I'm gonna start carrying that and maybe not so much back back in with deadly I know sorry I'm going to carry that back in America the bigger mop communion so those are few additions and again thank you em right now to go on to the next one they threw a boil well ever since I've been going outdoors and camping I would have an issue be sleeping asleep okay but the biggest issue I always have is the pillar situation for a while I used to roll clothes up along the clothes but if anyone's ever told that it's so hard and dense he just he's just not comfortable I end up crushing my ear I've got a pretty big head right I've got a pretty heavy head so I end up crushing my ear and I wake up my ears hurt and it happened forever and then I failed up to the drawback to be fitting the drive over there that works and but you do find the drawback slowly goes down Alba noises depends how good quality drawback as I guess maybe these ones am i working with that I don't know anyway I did that for a while wasn't ideal but it was better than the codes and I just thought like a plunge and Troy now any flag will pit up now I've seen this one born expert i bought this and who was a month or two down there like Detroit alum Antonia this is this is game-changing month look it nothing literally isn't it's this or nothing he doesn't weigh a lot column in my head with your ways but it's it's minimal but you just blow up a couple of breaths but it's not just a normally plan open up think about this pillow is it's contoured so it's obviously narrow it's time narrower this this end and deeper this end and obviously it has these caught in it so when you're sleeping you can really took it into your neck and that's what I've been missing I've realized when I'm sleeping it's that optimum level of distance between your head and the mattress my head's always too low and it's just really uncomfortable in your neck and neck pushing my heritage and need to have that perfect optimal so this thick bit for me is perfect I kind of talking in aachen alone thick bit and tell you something it's game-changing love it let me check those out but not nothing about 20 pound for big E's a massive and literally way nothing so really happy about that definitely worth the purchase and should definitely to get one of these next up and so if you remember I made a bushcraft tools video and a while back and I've been using the blood-horse knife also the called battle horse knives now i'm using the battle horse noise for em oh god make three years it's a good blade really liked it and stuck with it and i really really like it but basically blind horse knives enjoyed that video and they decided they would like to send me a new blade this is a new model that they've recently brought in if anyone has seen their h1 model it's very much it's very similar to the pathfinder knife but this is the H to the h1 which is a very long lasting blanker then like sorry from trans like they've had it for a long time it's one of their most popular knives it's a 5-inch knife this is h2 is a 4 inch knife I'm a big fan of 4 inch blades sorry out sort of oil on there I'm a big fan of forage blades and five enemies too big and the previous life I've had for a while is a 3 inch which I do find a little bit small so I've had this one see if I'm get up to focus boil it normally takes a wall there you go it's got to go to black booty on it nice and woodland come on focus got the natural brown MacArthur handle very basic blade but I love it it's so cool and they also had mass for the koi dekh sheet for it now you all know a big fan of their power and cumbersome that I've never tried a quite at sheath well you asked for a codec she f3 scopes that that escapes spoiler curry and I've got to say really really liking it it just like how it sits in the back it's mostly at the way up they still have my work suck on it doesn't get it doesn't get in the way they get belt and it's so easily and detachable I've actually taken the locking mechanism of figs and did a lot of luck American mechanism it was too hard to pull out I like about holidays not too easy or he's not going to pull it out oh it comes out quite easily so yeah that's my name bleh I'm gonna try that out you're going to be using that then I'll give you a thorough review on it in some time but I've got aside I've been using it for a few weeks now and I've been able court date I'm really liking it and just love the simplicity of actually it's quite nice a lot of started as well it slowly blade and then something you'll just this is the last one no promise something you've seen a video on recently is the Aqua clip you would have seen her enthusiastic I wasn't a video I better hope it but I'm just gonna shout again and just do every mention it and if you haven't seen the video go to watch it again it's basically a system in where it's an ultralight backpacking hydration system basically enables you to use is a standard plastic bottle but makes it more practical and more usable because you add this clip onto it around the neck of the bottle and interests in able you'd rather hang a bottle on your hip belt or are you chest drop any way you want to hang it and what they sent me a lot of colors and in the video I mentioned that you can get a lot of colors but I didn't actually show it so i just wanted to show you the arrived colors you can get easy if you have a chat the video I please go check it out it's again it's going freaking love these things the so simple put so effective and it just goes change the game and that's it that's everything for this month like I said I'm going to keep doing these they're very easy just sit down in my room and talk to you about some equipment don't do it very often and I'm going to try to do more because like i said i'm in that stage of my outdoor a career now where I'm really finding these small things to be a big difference and I want to share that with you guys
