metal it is key bunkie hello guys and welcome to Savannah Russia today in this beginning of the week video I want to show you a very useful and simple knife mod the knife mod here will enable you to open metal cans like these and so on without using the itch on your knife I know that a lot of missile cans nowadays they have pull tabs and so on but not all have pull tabs and pull tabs can break I certainly tried that myself yeah so since this mod is for opening metal cans then it's of course very useful for Scandi grind knives like this moral here that I made it on but it can be used on most types of knife to start the video outwards I want to show you where I got the inspiration from to make this modification the thing this mod is actually called a switch that's one of one of my friends knife maker told me anyway so I got the inspiration from the russian special forces knife to smash five smash pietà smash 5 has three switches that is angles on the spine as a short angle out here as a long angle here and another angle there these switches or angles they are made to enable the user to step through thick uniforms whipping bulletproof vests such as leather or soft armor and so on and then the switches of course make the the plates penetrate much easier so when the guys are not really busy stabbing enemies and so on they will use these switches here to open cans with and I know that some guys now is going to ask me where can i buy these knives and so on and so forth you cannot buy them because are you most likely cannot because they are very difficult to get they are extremely extremely dangerous knives they are so dangerous that they will be able to walk out the door I start randomly stabbing people wherever these knives will appear so these knives are actually more difficult to buy than a firearm and this is a true story

so you most likely not be able to find them anywhere this is the smash wife you're most likely seen I have a first impressions on this verse five and I will stab a smash five linked up here but I got this other model here these knives here they have a world war two heritage so to speak so this one has the original stack to the other handle with the brass rings and this handle is really heavy compared to the rubberized handle here and the other weeks really really nice grip on this knife here it's most likely also very useful to hit with and so on and yeah that's what they're made for there are warriors knives or war fighter knives but anyway let's get on to the modification here that's what we are here for after all so we have one more a push cross survival and I actually have a review on the more bushcraft survival I would also stabber more link to up here so what did I do with this more I know if it goes on the cam I hope it does I grinded a switch and it's sort of like a angle on the blade here goes in this direction because I'm a right-handed user and this of course leaves this edge out here on the opposite sides very sharp as you can see I've not I've not grinded all the way out to the tip of the knife so the strength of the tip is not compromised but much anyway I say it doesn't matter anything really this sharp edge here of course gonna enable you to cut through metal canes we all know that Scandi grind knives they just suck no they don't but the Scandi grind is a very delicate grind and if you start to use it for opening metal cans with and so on so forth they just don't like that when I see how it works we have a can of carp liver because cuddly was awesome and no I don't want any cotton liver oil on my plus palatka please okay so we punctured a little hole so we have all these nasty oil coming out and you can see this edge actually this 50 awesome for opening woo for opening Kansas the oak at this common of course I said we got the point here open up sha-la-la-la one crazy knife here at the end I also want to say that I'm working on the price Palatka raft video I know that the summer you were waiting for that and I'm certainly waiting for it myself I almost kind of wait to do it so yeah it should be up on Saturday or Sunday most likely Sunday so as you can see works very well leaves the Itchy in tech yeah hope you like them all and I hope you like the video you can check the links in the infobox below here and subscribe and like and share I always appreciate that until next time get out and swing and get it done and see you next time here in Russia
