hello and welcome to survival Russia heavy man in the forest today I want to show you something I've been looking forward to quite a lot actually because it's pretty cool so hang on so first thing we're gonna need is some good-sized locks

by the way this is my 180 flip Klein but since y'all since hello clever guys then you might have guessed that it's a fire I wanted to show you I want to show I want to show a traditional native fire from Siberia it's a long burning fires really awesome but stay tuned I'll show about it because this is gonna serve you well so first of all you need the biggest diameter most naughty lock you can find as this being a traditional Siberian fire then this is of course pine but I guess any sort of wood would you do

big gnarly lock you put there and then it's time to get out ahead shit on X so what we'll do next is gonna chop into the lock like this tom tom tom tom tom let's see if we're gonna call in some moose some people say that you call in the moose by chopping and cutting wood so let's see there's a lot of them so now that you have a like a trillion wood chips you can put them on top of the flat surface your maze you can see the cuts down here is this main is made for the fire to be able to have something to grab onto

it's much better than feeding your knife to this lighter than a big X so next obvious I collected some birch bark put it on top of the woodchips quite a good amount so how these native guys will make that tinder is to take a piece of pine nut bruise like this put it firmly on the ground hold it with the knees make mistakes it looks like this this will gives you a fine outer surface and the seeker inside it of course looks a little dangerous but if you just have a little bit of control then it's not a big problem but don't come running with your lawyer and say so my Russia taught you how to do it so now we just need to line it up the CEO goes so far so good so now the fires going nicely one of the great things about this fire there's so many great things is that there you can see you can boil and cook on the top you'll also be able to grill from the side the winds have of course turned straight into my shoulder now that I have all of you here I would also like to use this video as an opportunity to give a shout out to a channel it's the Ivar Berkman from Alaska escape animation he's relatively new with making videos but he does a lot of cool stuff and I'm sure some of you will like the channel so go and check it out but of course you can make this fire on a smaller and bigger scale I mean the natives they make them in a much larger scale they would have like seven eight locks of three meters like this when this end start to burn just lift the logs here slide them forward when you kick them together a little bit like this then they start to burn on top here another benefit of this fires and even even it's two meters away from where I'm sitting it shoots like a lot of heat over to where I'm sitting and I have no problem staying warm over there fortune is also smokes a little bit because the wind changed you can say it's like a fire with a building reflector and it will allow and it will shoot out the heat in that direction and it will make it possible for the fire to slip underneath this bed I have made I always make these bits because if the heat will slip under the bed and warm you from below that's one of the tricks to these what I call a woodsman space I'm not sure if it goes on the Campbell you can see how much he did have generated here all the way over here this is pretty much what it's supposed to look like just burn a little bit on the top and not on the bottom you can see I lifted the lock here and I shouldn't have done that as I said I never did this before and then it will not be hollowed out like this so that was another Siberian waste video check the links and go like me on Facebook and see you next time in the cold north
