WW2 Bunker Snow Shelter

Description

Inspired by the WW2 shelters i made a WW2 Bunker Snow Shelter. This shelter easily fits 2 persons and gear. A good low profile shelter for hunting/survival or just returning to through the winter. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Moscowprepper/1406284822976324

so we're on the way up to the winter camp to take a look at the war two style bunker shield I made quite cool it's really tough today have another foot of snow and yeah don't ask my snow shovel OOP see you up at the camp bunker shelters over there let's go and check it out I have not seen it as yet myself so let's see what looks like looking good download some footage of the construction of the shelter first you of course need the locks you need to solve for that then you're not some out here and here it doesn't have to be precise or anything you just want to prevent them from rolling around socially so the next step is to cover the sides with snow plates and gaps doesn't have to be seals and all this stuff is going to be covered in loose no anyway

and before you start thinking yeah but no one takes a real snow shovel in the fourth just I do because the handle here comes off and this weighs next to nothing

we used as a lid on the pull slit it fits easily on the backpack and I can use any birch sapling or whatever for handle if I need one so this is what it looked like now covering with plates sticks across

done so here we have a look into the shelter Ipek the plush Palatka on the ground

these are 180 by 180s meaning 6 foot by 6 foot so see this good space in there I hope it's not too dark you can see two three guys here it's not a problem at all it's quite night at nice atmosphere in here actually want to leave a little extra snow under logs so you can say to hold the pressure because it's a heavy shelter of course so I got the inspiration to make this shelter from the world war 2 style shoulders but they of course mate with locks on the ground that the Tata tartan covered with dirt and snow and whatever and they would also have the peak locks all the way across in there you can see there's only like saplings like this I don't need to make a bomb proof ins and shrapnel proof shelter I only need to make it the warm and so on so here's how you could close it up just a big snow blocks on the inside up to about here to hang your canvas tarp or whatever like that but you also remember don't seal off your shelter completely if you're running candles and stoves or something like that in there so you need a little bit of insulation and this type of shelter two guys can be you can build in a few hours that took me about four or five hours just me on snowshoes and so and so forth so the next videos coming up will be more Superion ways and some overnighters when my time for miss me too

and check out my links and the going like on facebook if you want to know what's going on outside the YouTube channel and so on see you next time in Russia in the cold north guys
