The Survival Russia Channel is about "The Reality Of Survival". I live on a Homestead in far away Russian wild nature and here are no room for "TV" Survival.

Only Reality counts here. Survival Russia promotes the philosophy of always carrying equipment and never to be parted from equipment which will affect chances of Survival.

So did the old timers and pioneers of both the East and the West.

hello guys welcome to survival Russia so tomorrow morning I'm gonna hit deep into the bear territory beyond Wolf's territory actually into the hunting cabin I can link to a video up here wait think so but today we're gonna take a look at the experiment that once a week because I've been thinking about this for a long long time actually as you know I like to wave my tinder bundle instead of blowing humid air into it especially when the yes humans and it certainly is today it's been raining for three days so me and the little troll I've been collecting some grass let's check out it by my method here works so we seek some shelter down here because we have a hairy very hard wind and the winter will be here very soon but I will start the fire with steel Flint steel and shark so this is a very good opportunity for me to comment a little bit on my video making fire with stainless steel because some people are making some really funky comments on this video because they were screaming that small silky blade here from the silky pocket boy 1:7 see it's not stainless steel and it's a carbon steel and it's just a tool carbon steel and blah blah blah because it's a force to you but when I google is careful with you right maybe it's because of my location but then I get the result from my first result is from a major Japanese steel manufacturer called token token and on their website you can see sk 4 and sk 5 Steel's are classified as martensitic stainless steels so this is why I call this stainless to you it might not be a true thing to steal but the question is is there one true stainless steel that's not I don't think there's any chromium in this SK for steel here but it surely has a heavy chromium plating as you can even see the machine marks and so on this is why this Delia sparks very very badly as I want to show you it makes some small sparks on some people are saying and this is the ideals to you for making Sparks and so on the hell it's not it's very difficult to make a spark look at this finally or for example sparks are flying off I'll say that's quite a big difference in these two steals yeah but talking and other steel manufacturers if you look at this k4 steel they write that it's a martensitic stainless steel they say it's classified as a large and see fixing this steel the thing it's okay i call the stainless steel then right even some people say no talking is wrong okay right whatever but let's move on to the experiment here also I've been giving my daughter here first compass because compasses are really important okay so we have Flint from Denmark chaga from Russia and a file from the Soviet Union and I'm gonna use this file not the SK for martensitic stainless steel as talking and others call it because this is ideal I don't want to carry a little piece of a file like this for a flint striker but the awesome thing about the silky sauce is that you actually can use them if need be Chagas ready soviet union file is also ready

this was alive is this much much better then is careful martensitic stainless steel members growing so now usual Chagas laying here and growing an ember been raining three days but it feels free to dry this Panasonic is going uncritical gonna dump this big in button here then I'm taking a bit of cordage here so string off whatever you call this

I made a gem not honest I've been thinking about this for I think more than a year actually if it works house 10 time to find out won't we tighten the jam nut down you try it little bit of smoke is coming so my idea is how does it go like this top smoke is emerging the stalk a long way we run it a little bit more they look through all this all the things you can hear you can hear ah

oops it

come on fire please it's been raining three days on the grass is not super dry that's very easy actually since this is a gem not then it's very easy to remove you have your magic coated chicken okay so why she's having a good time with the rest of the fire I just say that yeah the concept here is proven anyway I'd like to thank you guys for the time be sure to check in on the Saturdays and Sundays I should be back on Friday with hopefully any place good the food is from the trip also check in on the weekends in general and also else I'd like to thank the guys who so far have helped out on the last push to towards the vehicle both from patreon and PayPal and as always until next time guys subsea subscribe stop like and all that good stuff and get out and training get it done and see you next time right here in Russia thank you very much guys
