hello there so when the camp back in the forest to practice some more skills and the first thing I do when I come as a faggot like pack off the ground we're using it with have a carabiner here so says to one of the drafts on the backpacking

we're a big slip north here who's the carabiner frame make it on result the ground is always nice so I don't have any particular plan just coming out to practice on skills and we're said in the same spot is quite windy sun is shining sometimes don't want to put any top or anything up today think I just going to make some fire when I could try and make a variation of a Swedish push Swedish justice Sweden Swedish fire as cold as a being from Denmark ofcourse no this kind of fire very well but Mario booth crafts my way from Romania had a really cool way to mega improvised Sweden fire with so try to see if I can I can make the same sense the same type of file as he did was pretty cool cause the normal Swedish fire you have to have a chainsaw you just cut across in a log of any diameter puts in some sticks and weeds and so on and it burns and you can cook your tea and make a meal this way also I'll just to try to get used to this damn camera is a little strange but I hopefully get used to it in time so no yeah actually I also had brought a small pocket camera with me an expensive model but this is too bulky and heavy to carry around when you're out there and snow up to here so it's not the same quality as this very nice camera of course but you know it makes it a little bit so obvious so see you later I'm back again here the trick with with Mario or push cross my waist variation of the Swedish fire is as you can see here you have a block in the bottom and you stack some blocks around all the way around here and then you tie it together at the bottom and fill in the center with the combustible materials I have a stripped of some very fibrous bark here see if I can use this to lash it together in the bottom here as I just use some 550 cord or some other coal ashes cordsen have in my pack this is a this is the idea behind it order the trick behind it he showed it in his video it has a great channel and it worked pretty fine so I'll see if I can make might see in this one so what I'm doing here is I'm trying these

as you can see I filled it up with some shavings final now is a little bit bigger shavings there I'll take some of the fire there and transfer to the sweden's fire

so far seems to be catching on pretty alright so this improvised sweet as fires doing quite alright I'll just have to empty I can hear because there's lots of tuna see soups and potato mash and this one so just empty this into the backpack it's quite a lot of activity other sirens and everything foot this is another video it's not absolute wilderness is just a forest there's a big big highway new kilometres out here that leads to Moscow but you cannot go to 300 kilometres every time you want to practice your skills anyway that's what I think this forest is fine do summer take you to a place we have my retreat the bug out location whatever you want to call it that's far away 800 kilometres north from Moscow and that's a wild area a few years ago we had a dog in my woods just be us and everything so it's a pleasure definitely not one to get lost and that's for sure but so far seems to be working pretty all right I'll just fill it up once more and get back to you so now put the canteen on to the Swedish fire or improvised Swedish fire and started my stopwatch see how long it's gonna take for the water to boil so without the water boiling in 6 minutes and 37 seconds that's not too bad

tea and biscuit time for sure but let's take a look at the fire again you should be able to see all of the locks is now on fire it looks pretty good doesn't take too long to put together it's quite a good addition to a normal fire it's almost gone out I don't need it anyway
