I'm in southern Indiana with Mike born which is the owner of the Evansville Music Academy bicycling team cycling team protecting some local beer from Evansville Indiana some Carson's pagan and some tin man overboard IPA how long have you been how long you been competing in the second world I started when I was 13 years old 15 years old 46 46 and then I will not get an ice cream been too long so aside from writing from for other people how is that different from kind of doing your own thing and you having your own second team that's a pretty good one having your own cycling teams about other people got other people yeah I would say that's the big difference writing for even when you're riding on another team you're still kind of writing for yourself you're working for your teammates and things like that but when you're running a team it's the other people are way out front and as far as what you're thinking about what you're doing it's like they're they come first

what do you prefer to race that of all of all raising as far as like style or event well I have my choice that's going to be probably road raised harder the better but more climbing the better a definitely a better climber that I am a sprinter but being in the Midwest there's a lot of criteria to spend most my time doing criteriums you say what so it's a what's your favorite thing about being a cyclist and that and competing in the Midwest sources say out west benefits um drawbacks it's pretty tight-knit community it's like even though i don't like teams that I don't race on I see the same guys pretty much every weekend most is on and getting to know that rice with on hang out sometimes the worst race you have is the most fun that you have because you're competing with people that hang the thought was cool so over years you've been racing competing let's talk about bikes how many bikes and bucks if you own how many bugs that you went through ah how many paisa five I couldn't begin to tell you myself down you help her well I had a big window where I didn't race race when I was younger I've been racing a lot from the past several years so bikes 20 ish probably be more bikes broken backs broken 18 18 inch out of the finish it's like to bike survey they eventually break in some way shape or form usually out of broken steel frame I had never broken all alone buddy never working women that video brooke steel yes i have car I've bent steel frames to where they some character and several carbon at this point and bones 00 bones get concussions yeah that's ask my life more than one thinkin thinkin probably a few concussions the confessionals okay I learned how to roll early early on it's kind of stupid but I had I had some pretty good cut responders younger and they taught us thought of how to fall so we would go out into open grassy area fact we got ran off several golf courses when we were doing this stuff but we would just let go to the local golf course everybody like hit the field and we play tag and when you play tag it's not tag it's like punch the guy until they fall down wrap anything and it was hysterically fun everybody got a kick out of it but you learn how to just like roll without freaking out and that probably saved me more than once that's can you feel about that if you were to lose your foot and having a special attachments that you've seen the movie hook like like with Robin 10 he's got all the different hooks that he can put on there i love you John it's like a comb yeah he's like shaving with the chin like if you could attach like number one like a cycling qui donne to the bottom of it so would be either like you have a kind of stiffer ride right you wouldn't have to know i just have kickstand just the kickstand yeah that's it that's it you won't even go with this so you 101 bud kickstand day with the kicks like it a lot of deer right yeah like a bottle up and around the bottom so you could yeah sometimes feel like open a bottle of Carson's or should we talk about a game hold the missing lips I'm gonna make it funny look no I mean they have a great gift so beer cycling I ride you ride for both beer geeks I consider myself a beer me your beer geek what is the connection between beer and cyclone why do all cyclists seem to love beer and I just like budweiser but like good beer well something about it I think there's few reasons one cyclist or geeks by nature Danny now so they're going to over investigate in and there's a lot type-a personality so let's just put it that way so yeah and then you take that and the fact that there's nothing much better after a hard race or a hunter my ride you only need one really good beer no the one that's you drink counts always can so let's go that's a big part fuel fuel appeal yeah cycling's perfect fuel and I would have to remember that yeah Cheers that you even in the middle of the ride sometimes depending you

At the end of 2014 my wife Snuggles & I decided to quit our jobs, sell 95% of the things we own, & leave our home town for good in search of adventure, culture, & the true meaning of happiness. We bought a van, traveled all over the country & hiked the entire Appalachian Trail (2189.2 miles). We are still seeking adventure in new places, meeting new people, trying new food & drink, & discovering all that we can.

This Channel has developed into a main hub for aspiring hikers & current hikers to gain info on a wide variety of Trail Topics. With a series of Trip Videos, Q&A, Tip Videos, & Gear Reviews, I aim to get you out on the trail and hiking more!

Hike On,
