hi and welcome to tahoe movies this time i want to share my opinion how to use a pair out with you thanks for joining me my favorite combination to use the Ferro rod is with a knife which has a sharp edge on the back plate and the piece of headboard for me that the safe this way to light a fire under nearly all conditions with the sharp edge of my back plate i scratch a little bit of my pad bored just in the size of sherry stone this should be enough to catch the spark and get the plane then I scratch on my Ferro rod the first layer a little bit off and paper short move I already can light my pyre if you want to light campfire on different positions at the same time just scratch like before but leave it on the stick so then you actually can use thick black a match and then you can use it again most of us know that it works also very good with ridge park and it works very well of course there are so many other materials who work also really good with the para wat like a try branch from a tree but don't collect any material directly from the ground most of the branches here are rotten or inside bed ms you see you had the flame in no time without recommending any particular brand I prefer a softer material if a robot the hot material might last a bit longer but you need a little bit more pressure and more speed to get the spark the soft material needs less effort just a short movement with less pressure and I can be very precise and put the spark in the tinder bundle exactly to the place where I want to and we believe draining it works also with knives who have only a little part on the back plate which is sharp enough to scratch the verra wat and light the fire if I had to decide between matches a lighter or a ver rod the fair what would be always my first choice and it always I'm sharing my opinion and my experience it does mean anybody else is wrong or otherwise won't work you all should train and practices of higher skills from time to time even with the parrot fire out here makes a huge difference to enjoy nature on a bomb campfire or in an emergency we are to light the fire can make a difference between death or life I hope you like my little video about the Ferro rod and you will join tower movies to next time again thanks for watching ciao ciao on bye bye you
