Video Transcription

hi and welcome to Tahoe movies flint and steel in this video I would like to show you my favorite technique to light a fire with it thanks for joining me I'm sharing in this video my opinion and my experience it does mean another way won't work because at the end there must be a fire and that's all what counts I hear the carbon steel striker and the Flintstone I don't hold a strike like this because as soon as you build a fist you are losing flexibility in your wrist and you start to hit little hole arm you're also losing control and the sharp edge of the Flint stone might cut your finger off and that's not what we want I'm holding the carbon steel with my fingertips like this so they are protected from the sharp edge and have optimum on flexibility so I really can strike the edge of the Flintstone okay to this part with my piece of char cloth I keep it dry and touch it only as much as necessary so there is no body crease and no sweat on it then I put it over the sharp edge of my Flintstone important is also to hold the Flint stone in the right position to the striker if you hold it like this down this board we're going away this way so I keep it a little bit upwards so the spark goes automatically to the char cloth so that's already enough and I can put the charcloth into my tinder Bandra

once again I hold the striker with my fingertips to protect them have much more flexibility in my wrist when I can really strike this way and have an optimum on control I don't touch destroy cloth too much because I'm a body crazed and Desmet and I hold both the Flint stone and the floor cloth in the right position so vivid little training you should be able to get an ember with just one strike

I hope you found my little tips and tricks useful and you will join our movies to makes time again thanks for watching ciao ciao or bye-bye
