hi guys welcome to kind of a new miniseries that I'm going to do just called bushcraft camp chat this is I am at my camp my bush camp but this is not a camp update video this is really just a chance for me to just have a chat really and let you know what's kind of coming up in the show I've got a little fire going and it's quite a nice day actually it's about three degrees and still quite chilly and but I just thought I'd talk to you really about I guess my previous videos my bushcraft firstly I guess I just want to I want to thank you guys for you know watching liking commenting on my videos the previous bushcraft camp update for video has I think gone over something like 20-something thousand views which is just crazy I never really imagined hey I never really imagined there was that many bushcraft kind of outdoors people you know out there who love the woods and be I just can't believe that you know a little video that I did here at my bushcraft camp has got that many of you so I really like to thank you guys for all the support on the bushcraft camp update videos and just my general bushcraft videos it's really really humbling and I've had some fantastic comments from you guys who've you know you now subscribed and you're following the camp updates which is amazing and I really am pleased that you're joining me on this adventure you know one of the guys I think said on there that it's inspired him to go out there with his son to go and make a camp and for me that's that's kind of what it's all about you know I've I'm not a self-proclaimed expert I've never you know said that I'm an expert in the field I'm just a guy going out in the woods and enjoying myself really and when I get comments like that you know feedback like that like I've inspired people to go out there and build a camp thus that makes it all worthwhile to be honest say i will keep making the videos and I just like to say thank you very very much from everyone he's now supporting me and subscribe to the channel I just thought I'd talk a bit about the channel itself the totally awesome outdoor show is set up by well by me

it's kind of a spin-off of our main show on YouTube which is called the totally awesome fishing show and I know a lot of you have come over from the totally awesome fishing show to Tokyo smart dogs so we I know we have a lot of fishermen following us but if you haven't watched or seen are totally awesome fishing show I'll pop the link just in a box here in the corner of your screen and we did yes a weekly show say off more often sometimes a couple of times a week will upload a video and I set up that about four years ago with my dad and that's now got over eighty seven thousand subscribers nearly 20 million views so it's it's massive and you know and it's something that I get to spend time with my dad fishing and making you know weekly videos and getting amazing feedback from you guys so you know I can't really complain about that and I'd like to thank everyone who subscribed to that channel as well and supports us on that channel but as a result of the success of that channel I wanted to kind of branch out because I love the outdoors being you know into my fishing and things I wanted to branch out with it so I decided to set up totally awesome outdoor show which is what you're watching now and that's when I kind of got into bushcraft about six months ago I'd say or something I've only really been going it quite sure I just really find it an amazing field there's so much there's so much the bushcraft covers and it's just something that I really really enjoyed it in it's a bit less intense than kind of going up making a fishing show I can come and you know I can relax at the camp and kind of do what I want really it's very very peaceful or more often than not I will see no one which is really really nice but also on the total smart dog showed we do some DIY videos my dad he's a bit crazy those of you who watch him he does some DIY videos making stuff from recycled or reclaimed pallet wood I'll put all the links to the description to these kind of playlist obviously there's my main bushcraft video videos and we also do some shooting and hunting videos as well on top of that we do upload the old fishing video and some cooking ones as well but it's kind of just more of a general outdoors there's some walking ones you know as well so it's more of an or general outdoors channel so just as a background as well what's coming up I'm a school teacher by trade as such I teach PE and drove e two children from age 5 to 13 and I really enjoy doing that been doing that for five years now as a very rewarding job at times very stressful but more rewarding than stressful and in my school holidays obviously that's when I can get out and decent filming hence why there's kind of a delay in some of the videos because at the moment you know I have to prioritize the teaching and obviously the editing for the telly or some fishing channel as well but I guess for the future what can you guys expect well I am looking to do a lot more bushcraft videos I have kind of holiday scoala days coming up so i'll be doing a lot more then and the next video i'm focusing on is bushcraft camp update 5 which i am currently in the about to film bout to start filming that one see hopefully you guys will enjoy that as much as you did camp update for that's a i'm hoping to kind of build another shelter on my camp and there's a few other bits i want to do but it'd be great to have your suggestions i've had many suggestions from you guys about doing the sweetest fire torch which i've looked up and it looks really really cool so i might have a go at that and once the comes a bit more a bit more finished there's other things may be making a fire pit others have spoken about can you make a bed for your shelter which I will do because I will be doing some overnighters here at the camp so that is coming you need to give me a bit of time to you know get the film's done and things like that but it will be coming and I will be doing overnighters here and cooking here and things like that but that's what's up to come coming up we've got more outdoors videos as well and obviously the regular fishing one's going on to totally awesome dad or so there's lots of stuff coming but thank you very much for being patient thank you very much for liking commenting sharing and subscribing to the channel and please keep watching guys thanks for all your support you
