Sure fire is common sense packing in the woods having skills to create a fire in harsh conditions is extremely important but packing something with you that will 100% get a fire when it is absolutely needed is simply just smart

hey guys doing this bleep Myers Mass outdoors back at you with another video in today's video we're gonna go through some surefire products that are from you Co the behemoth sweet fire and the regular smaller sweet fire strike will matches I guess they're sounds like a mouthful for me to say storm proof water proof sweet fire striker Bowl alright so these pretty much just act like storm proof matches really high-temperature burning chemical that's on not too long ago did a video on this kind of compressed wax impregnated probably some percent kind of material that you can get for your fireplace and it's really good because you can break them up and put them into you know a small kit for fires on the woods and things like that that's kind of what these are made out of plus they got the the storm proof match heads on them so what we're gonna do is we're just gonna kind of let them both off just sit watch them I'll probably speed up the video maybe times two or something like that and see how long they burn and then give you my opinion of them afterwards so each of these come with you know a striker in my opinion this could be a liability you know I always kind of preach against matches it's just what I've just the way that I think you know you have a strike-anywhere match that you can keep waterproof keep them the striker safe as well and if it's strike anywhere you also have a multitude of services matches might be useful in that point you know these storm proof matches even the smaller ones from you co pretty good again if you don't have the striker they're useless you know so I don't know maybe you could hit him with a feral Rob so yeah I don't know but so matches in my opinion kind of out of there I'm 54 I'm 50%

I guess them well let's go ahead and strike these off then pan down there do these at the same time as much as I possibly can

this would be either one of these absolutely ten times more than enough to get even marginal 10 they're going at this point we be honest with you with this you don't even need tender I wouldn't feel any problems with just play straight kitten lien on top of this it even pencil led would I wouldn't I wouldn't bother with like any kind of tender I would just probably go straight to like pencil led to pencil size put it straight on top of one of these and just let it eat so the smaller one is kind of starting to die down a little bit this one's still going strong [Music]

and a good thing about these you know if you start your fire with one of these and then you kind of take a stick and you kick it out put a tent over it or a cup or anything like that close off the oxygen to it you possibly could use it the next day to take a spark as charred material more likely oh yeah get in close if I cut the oxygen off to that and just let it kind of burn out so the small ones already completely out the big one is still going pretty strong I'd have to say be honest with you though I really don't see too much of a need for this this big one well unless you're trying to light a fire for family for

okay so you know my thoughts on these they are really nice okay so to be honest with you these are too big to pack that's just my personal opinion if if you feel like packing this and go the whole pack of four or five way too much I mean you might as well throw these and go get a 20-minute road flare you know these are big they're useful they'd work I probably could see these in a cabin you know throw these in a wood-burning stove

throw your wood on top of it forget it that's probably the application of application that I could see the big lens for but the small ones these are more than pack hold just one of them just put one of them and with the striker and maybe a 10 out toys 10 fire kit something like that I could see that most definitely the the bigger ones in my opinion are just too big you know they're not worth packing in my opinion the small ones do pretty much just as good of a job they just don't burn as long but at some point you're like you know okay this is burnt long enough to get even like I said marginal tender marginal kit kindling burning though the bigger ones just like okay that's just overkill I might as well be packing a 20 minute road flare like I said so just my personal opinion I probably would just stick to the little ones they're packable they work just as well as the bigger ones they just don't burn quite as long they burn a heck of a long time and more than a long enough to get a fire going so you know what would be the application for something like this in the woods would be yeah this is your surefire this is I'm not trying to I'm trying not trying to mess around with a lighter that might be broken or Cole butanes just not gonna work I'm not messing with a Ferro rod I'm not messing with this I'm not messing with that I just I need a fire I'm cold I'm wet etc etc I need a fire now let me grab some sticks strike this thing and get a fire going so that would be something that's worth packing and keeping just in case I'm pretty sure these things aren't gonna go bad in time you probably keep these and not even use them for years and years and years but when you need them you know it'd be better to have them and need them than to need them and not have them I guess I should say all right guys let's pretty much all I have to say about that you know they really I think they are useful they are packable the small ones would be my purchase you know I wouldn't I probably wouldn't even buy the bigger ones just like I said at some point it's like okay this is overkill small ones in my opinion will be a great packable emergency fire starter for when it's time to not mess around something's happened we need a fire and we need it now I could see packing this I probably will pack it so hopefully enjoy the video and if you did appreciate it if you click like down below subscribe if you already haven't and hopefully we'll see you out in the woods you
