hey guys doing this way Mars mess outdoors back at you with another video and in today's video I have something very cool for you guys the knife review from Lt right is the Patriot nice patch knife was what I would call them neck knives whatever you want to call them but you know these are the knives that do you know just that tiny tiny skilled work carving around camp stuff like that I love little tiny knives like this for just all-around service in camp butchering things like that little knives like this are great for getting into like the tiny little spots on tiny animals and big animals even deer tiny you know tiny animals that you're trying to save the fur for you know rabbits you know rabbits you just tear apart but if you want to save that fur you know you really got to have something pretty skilled to get in there and get that connective tissue off and that's what this knife really lends itself to and like I said even bigger animals like deer it really helps keeping that animal out getting the getting hide off and using it for fat and tanning the high as well not only that but for carving etc little knives like this are nice now in my opinion I really do like this knife and it's not exactly what I would call a three-finger handle you know those three finger handles are a lot smaller than this and I do not like those this you can get that pinky around there and you have that pinky on there but you know the handle was just a little bit longer that would be okay in my opinion too but it is okay this is pretty decent in my opinion was a 2 or D 2 I think this is a 2 pretty sure that this is a 2 yeah because I think his d 2s don't like more it's kind of like grayish almost yeah but I mean just for scale the blade length there for those of you that are familiar with the size of wills finger average finger

well yeah let's uh use this a little bit on camera show you guys it do some chopping yeah I'm gonna chop down a tree with it you know even though this is a little knife just wearing it on a side like this is extremely comfortable in this leather sheath and you really got to put some effort and you're getting the knife out so the knife's not going to go anywhere just in this leather sheath so even though I would consider having this as a neck knife so I could just have access to it really quickly having it as a hip wearing it on my hip I should say is really comfortable you know one of the things about using little knives like this is like I said detail and just attention to detail and as always lt's knives are gonna come out of the box just absolutely rip and sharp and that's the spine yeah well I probably could with this point yeah lt's knives generally come with three edges yeah yeah I concur but I really really like working with small knives like this I've carried the Great Plains Minh for a really long time and I've been looking at this blade for a long time like yeah I think I'm gonna get a patriot and finally our retired thing no never that's my baby the Great Plains Minh yeah yeah I think is with me everywhere man see this like you know like a knife like this and the Great Plains Minh they're part of a package in my opinion you know this isn't Lord of the Rings there isn't one knife to rule them all that's that's what gets people about that one tool option stuff you know a knife like this is a companion to say a sauce piece or something like that something bigger a main belt knife and then something like this or even a pocket knife something small they coincide together you know that's why I really like having smaller knives problem calm with one tool options is if it did everything we wouldn't have a reason to buy more knives that would be an issue I guess but you know I've been interested in this knife for a very long time because it reminds me sort of of another blade that LT makes and that's the frontier valley and you can still pick those up but I like this one a little bit better it's just got a little bit more

compact this - it really small really impressed with this little tiny blade this is exactly what I was looking for well you know and just how sharp it is yeah obviously the lt''s blades are gonna come just rip and sharp absolutely sharp and you know having a little length of paracord like this we might as well go ahead and make a lanyard for this thing so even though having this thing on your belt or on your waist is rather comfortable and you really don't even know this there I like having small blades like this as a neck knife you know just right there easy access cut rope whatever a little leather sheath for this is pretty nice very snug I don't know you know have to tell you over time if it if it loosens up or how much it loosens up but right now it's very snug yeah this is the complete package in my opinion as far it was a small patch like this you know Chris was commenting in the video about how sharp LT spines are and this thing is just absolutely ripping you pretty much have a pharaoh strike that's built right in here as your pleasure knife so we're going to see how good that is which I'm sure we're going to have no problems here
