Knife REVIEW - The ESEE Izula after more than 2 years of Use

Description

This is a re-visiting of the ESEE Izula after more than 2 years of use.

THIS Knife rocks, no damage at all, the coating is superb done and the steel is great.

The only things I would like to see in the future is a serrated Version of the Izula and a better Micarta-handle design for the Izula 1 as well as a squared spine for striking the ferrorod. Everthing else is doing fine and even the sheath held up well so far.

THANK YOU ESEE!.....for this great Little blade!

hello and welcome to a new episode of the survivor 2.80 my name is Mike on a revisiting the Azula is a so stay tuned well you've probably seen my review on this knife I've done this two years and this knife I have now for a bit over two years at first I had it completely with paraquad wrapped handle and decided about one and a half years ago to get this micarta handle grips and I really really love this thing they are amazing you know gives you so much better grip positive feeling in your hand just an upgrade that is absolutely worth the money okay

but after all these years and you know more than two years is just just time for a knife this size I'll did it held up how's the blade how is the coating how is everything doing after all this time had it in the woods with me I've had it at home I've used it at work I've used it nearly anywhere and I also had snipe for quite some time in my car so really really great backup plate let's take a look this blade has seen a lot of cutting I mean really a lot of cutting tasks nothing major happened to this knife ever the coating itself and they give you a closer look in just a few seconds the coating is held up perfectly of course you have stretch marks of course you have some places where the coating has come off a little bit but all in all I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of the se Azula the coating is awesome

the heat treating is perfectly done stays sharp for a long long time of course I have sharpened this knife quite often till now but even that I've sharpened the knife very often there is no problem and a no major change of the blade shape itself as I said before the micarta handle scales that you can buy separately feels so good in hand and never ever will have this feeling with just a paracord wrapping the reason why I did this wrapping at the back here is because the grips the handle scales a chest coming here and then its end so the whole bag would be just steel and then wrap this so the point where the butt of the knife handle hits my hand don't hurt when I squeeze it or when I'm carrying working with the knife to say more like a buffer I would say you know all the good is this very very tiny little I won't say Glenn yard but that's very rapping come together in this knot and I can grab the knife far far in behind so I have it just with my thumb and index fingers and grab this tiny little thing the rest of my hand now I have really good leverage for chopping it's not a big blade you know so you can't jump big limbs but it is enough to keep you alive in the woods in the cities everywhere you go this in my opinion is one of the perfect fixed blade EDC knives but let's take a closer look on the coating there you have it you can see some scratch marks and places further when I have a taunt with this knife the coating is become very smooth instead of rough surface like the rest that's just on the blade as I told you before you have some places but occulting is coming off that's where the baton it's the knife and the other side has also quite a few scratch marks all over the place and it's become it has become very smooth over the time because the coating will smooth them over the time it won't come off as you know it from cheaper or other blades the edge itself is amazing amazingly sharp you can sharpen it very very easy

can it razor razor sharp as it is now it gets a really wonderful shine to it when they do sharpen the knife doesn't matter with stone or with sharpening systems you can really come in contact with this part here

but that is no problem I mean the knife is still okay doesn't have any major damage to it feels good in hand and then my cutter grips are just awesome I really wish they do n scales for the Azula one in the look of the handle scales from the Azula to because the end scales from the Isola 2 are going all the way back and around would be better than that you have to wrap this around tell you what I've hand size 9 to 10 and it still feels great in hand with this paraquad wrapping at the back so my opinion as I said before this is one of the best fixed blade EDC blades that I know in the price category around 60 to 100 euros I will say well let's can I say well prepping challenge still on the net still ready to go if you haven't taken a look now please do so the Isola would be in companion with a folder would be perfect bag out knife this small little thing can really do damage to any bad guys you can cut nearly everything with this knife and it is just so handy and it feels so great so I hope you liked this video revisiting the Isola from SE knives after more than two years of use got mine from vvv dot out to a message de and I really really love it even after this time the champion is ok could be better but it is ok and the only thing that I person but miss on this knife is a nice expand that is squared out to use it as a striker for the Ferro rod or even a version with I would say one inch of serrations would be awesome se would be awesome

together nice Euler with one inch of serrations thanks for watching see you on the next one Mike from the survivors from the delta T bye you
