afternoon guys Dave carry the Pathfinder school I'm here with a new product from the Pathfinder school that I wanted to introduce today this is the Pathfinder pocket hunting system it is a newly developed product that my father has been working on for quite a long time that allows you to shoot arrows and fish with a slingshot this is a one-piece molded I'm sorry a two-piece molded part that bolts on to your slingshot with one screw you can then take it on or off and it will fold up completely in its natural configuration into a cargo pocket the great thing about this is it's set up so that you can also fish with it

okay it's got a cap on the fishing reel portion and that fishing reel portion snaps right into the front just like that all right so you can now tie your line off to this bottom hole run it up spool it here put your fishing arrow in you have a piece of cord it's already in there so that you can knock your arrow in there and you're ready to fish all right if you don't want to fish with it you can pull that snap that reel right off the front it does have a cap that comes with it because you can keep fishing type arrowheads and things like that in here as well for your carbon arrows and when you're not using it it stores right inside of the cited area of your slingshot now you can take that right off of there with that one screw and shoot regular ammunition through this not a problem at all but this puck and hunting system folds up and it's ready to rock when you need it set it up any way you choose whether you choose to fish with it or not you can mount this arrow rest either way in the front or the back it does have a pathfinder logo on it on the front side when you mount the fishing reel on there it will become the back side so you'll be looking at the path on your logo with the fishing reel on when you turn the adapter around with the fishing reel off you'll have the Pathfinder logo in the front it's a reversible system for shooting an arrow it's a very good system there's no question about it you know and if you are you know it doesn't matter if your camp near water or if your camp near the woods if you're looking to secure meat I've always said you know a slingshot is one of the most versatile weapons that you can use you know in the wilderness to secure meat with because they're so simple and they're so easy to use and when you can adapt one like a pocket hunting system to shoot arrows for fishing or for hunting you got a winner you know you combine that with these three piece arrows that we make now we make a three piece carbon arrow flush with feathers fully balanced and cut perfectly the way they're packed is they're packed three not three pieces about three arrows into a heavy cardboard box like this you can actually put that box in your backpack to carry those arrows if you wanted to and it's no longer than that and we look at the puck and hunting system compared to the arrow look at the size of that package that you've got you could put that in a small but pack a military-style Molly but pack or anything like that and you're ready to rock and roll these arrows have got all thread in them that's been epoxy din they've got real nice threaded adapters in them that have been machined down so that they don't interfere at all with the arrow they're absolutely almost flush you can make this arrow shorter by putting just two pieces together if you want to for a shorter draw length if you have a longer draw length you can choose to put the middle section in and that will give you a full length arrow now you can make an arrow just like this a fishing arrow if you choose to do that and you can break it down what I generally do is I'll either use that with the safety pin on the bottom side like I've showed you in other videos how to make or what I'll do is I will you know use this for hunting and I'll either use a blunt tip and a blunt hit blunt tip arrow will hunt just as well for small game as a broad head will and you'll see that at the end of this video or you can take something like you know a piece of fiberglass or a fiberglass arrow and this actual piece right here is just a driveway steak that's been cut off with a hacksaw it's got a piece glued on the front of it here you could like a furniture cap and I can grab onto so I can shoot it out of the boat pocket without having to use the string it's got duct tape fletchings on it and all I've done is I've tied that string on there just like I showed you in past videos and then you can just tie a loop to this string that rides up and down so that when you put it into the pocket hunting system to shoot it and then when you put in the pocket hunting system to shoot it all you're going to do is spool your line up on this puck hunting system very easily and just snap this right on the front have your string tied off to the bottom here so you can't lose the fish spool your line there put your arrow in the pocket and like I said you don't need to string for this if you set it up in this configuration and you're ready to fish you leave it like this you're also ready to hunt with a normal arrow so either way you know the puck and hunting system by the Pathfinder school is the bomb like I said my dad's been working on this rigorously for months to have parts molded and pieces and parts made and samples come to us to make sure that's exactly what I want I've shot this a lot of times it's a very very accurate arrow rest for the slingshot if you're going to set this thing up for fishing guys you know I recommend that you go to our website and get the very lightweight I think this one hundred and fifteen pound test bank line you can buy it by the roll off of our website I'm a big believer in back line and it works really good on a fishing arrow you know it's just about the right diameter you could spool about 20 yards of it onto the spool tie it off on the bottom like I said so it can't go anywhere and you're ready to fish so
