well to be flat honest with you I can't even believe I got that done I actually kind of screwed this up my board actually had broke off and I was just like well you know what heckle I'm going to try it my notch is a little bit too wide but tulip poplar requires a little bit wider knotch has a lot of fibers in it has to breathe my spindle was in good shape it was almost perfect and my spring pole right here you can see here's my toggle and it's connected to a maple sapling have this got wedged in between those two trees and I'm using that as like a lawnmower cord to operate my spindle which in theory would take half the energy because it's pulling itself forward so you're not pushing pulling pushing pulling but with something I've never tried before and I just want to see if I can even make it work I thought I'd come out here and get it on video and it worked great so I can't complain anyway I think I'll throw this up on the tube for you guys I was just going to make a quick snippet for Facebook but I think I'll go and throw it up on YouTube as well I appreciate you guys going for this quick video I'm Dave Canterbury with self-reliance Outfitters and the Pathfinder school I appreciate your views I appreciate your support I thank you for than you do for school for family port business all of our sponsors instructors affiliates and ferns and I'll be back to another video as soon as I can
