afternoon guys I'm Dave Canterbury with self-reliance operators in the Pathfinder school what I'd like to do today is introduce you to a new addition to our stainless steel line in a larger Bush pot stay with me okay I'm sure you're all familiar with our normal Bush pot which is a 2 quart Bush pot we've sold lots and lots of them and what I'm trying to do is I've talked about this in past videos I'm trying to build a kit that's very similar to the old Boy Scout cook set where everything nested together and you have a set of nesting cooking utensils for a larger group maybe four people something like that so what we've done is we have come out with a larger Bush pot and this is the largest pot that's in this bag and I've got my smaller Bush pot inside of it so it's essentially the same as the older Bush pot except this one is 100 ounces so it's just eight ounces shy of a gallon or a four quart pot it has heavier duty handles on it here from a heavier gauge steel and have the same locking bail mechanism and the same spouted front as the other Bush pot the beauty of this is it was made and developed to be able to nest inside of everything so you have your Pathfinder skillet and lid and you can nest this larger Bush pot inside of that and then you can nest your smaller Bush pot inside of that and if you wanted to what I do with mine is I've got just a couple things in there a wooden bowl that I eat out of that I turned on my lathe a rag a spoon and a scrubbing brush to scrub food particles out of my Bush pot things like that but you could put another cup in here like the cup that goes at our bottle and cup set in the lid that would fit in here as well spices food items all those types of things and all of this will nest together currently in this bag with a little bit of room left over so what we're trying to develop here in the end is a full circle and right now we've come with the larger bush pot for this system and that will be followed up by other pieces of parts to go with the system as we develop them whether it be plates whether it be small cups whether it be utensils whatever the case may be we're going to try to develop other pieces of parts that will go with this so all of this nest inside of one bag for carrying with you obviously it's not something you want to carry backpacking by yourself or bushcraft in by yourself this pot is essentially made for more than one person in the party but again it is a just eight ounces shy of being a full gallon with heavy-duty wire handles on it a locking bail and a pour front spout for straining and things like that so you've got this large 100 ounce pot now to go with the smaller 2 quart Bush pot in a combined set so I wanted to show you guys that today to introduce you to this new piece and let you know that we are diligently working on making a complete set but now you can nest the pot excuse me the pan the folding skillet with the lid will nest together with this bigger Bush pot and smaller Bush pot will again go inside of that with whatever you wanted to put inside there as well whether that be another cup or whether that be some personal items of yours to cook with alright folks so I appreciate you joining me down here to camp real quick just talking about the new almost 4 quart Bush pot holes a hundred ounces just shy of a gallon but I think it's going to be a solid piece of gear and a solid addition to our current line of stainless steel to make a modular cook system that you can use if you are out with more than one person or with your family I appreciate your views I appreciate your support I thank you for everything you do for school for family and for business both of our sponsors instructors affiliates and Friends and I'll be back to another video as soon as I can thanks guys
