hi folks and here it in this bag out camp again and today I want to show you something special the Matt Graham survival knife so stay tuned Matt Graham primitive bush knife talking about the sheath first the sheath is very special it has a Scandinavian kind of like look it's well-made it's high-quality as usual known from Condor it's thick vegetable tanned leather and it has this tab here as you can see this sheath has no belt loop at all but therefore is this little tab right there this tab is used in the way that you put the knife behind your belt and under this tab right there and with this configuration it sits very well and very secure on your hip if you don't have a belt on you or as matt graham is using it is put a shoe mark around his waist and put the blade in there and the tap again secures it from falling down talking about the blade itself the blade is made out of 420hc stainless steel it's made in El Salvador it has a Scandinavian grind on the edge itself which is nearly ground to zero but with a micro bevel to make the edge stronger on the other side of the blade you have matte grey hems initials or his signature and of course the Condor 420hc stainless steel the handle is made out of hardwood I think it's walnut just because of the looks of it it has these three eyelids right there so you can lash it to stick to create a spear if you want to and it is a full tang if you want to have the other specs and everything in detail here are the specs so the overall design of this blade is more or less from a so called snatch it personally I do like the style of blade which he has created it's a longer blade it's lightweight feels good in the hand and you can do even bigger tasks with this blade so let's see what this blade can do out in the woods as you can see I've went through several knots within this batoning let's see if this blade has lost any of his slicing capabilities well it still creates some very nice photos you can see the curl really nice yeah so it definitely kept its edge it's very sharp it's making super fine fat sticks let's try to ignite it with a spicy as you can see awesome really really sharp edge it's designed to scrape off Park ratify material I like that collecting things for your roofing well this knife can do it and in a matter of seconds you can collect a bundle of those with very less effort well this is a dead standing tree but if you have forgotten your axe or your hatchet you can use this as a replacement that's one down we can use later on in the back of camp

let's chop this tree down job done so finally lily has some firewood and to create a fire you may need a bow drill set and that's where the sharpened tip of this knife comes in very handy take a closer look so this tip here was especially designed by Matt Graham to create easy a bow drill divot within seconds the 90-degree spine on this blade is also very good for scraping some really really fine shavings out of wood so you can use the cinders well the design of the blade is very unique you may love it or you hate it personally I can see some really good features in this plate and they find some features that I don't like for example the hilt right there is good but too small when you do heavy chopping also display it because it's so thin and doesn't have a lot of mess it is not good for heavy chopping so you can chop small stuff but with a bigger tree like the one we did earlier it's it's a pain in the ass all in all the handle was comfortable to use I like that when I did the patterning I hit the handle on this spot here and they crush the wood a bit though I don't care because it's a user for a user blade a user knife and not a collectible I think a bush knife a primitive bush knife and that's what this knife is designed for well for collecting things for your shelter for making fires bow drills or feta sticking for use with fire steel

all these things yeah it works I really see some positive things on this plate it's different from so many others and I put a link in the description box down below where you can get this knife for a good and fair price hope you like this video see you next time my god
