Titanium Cookset (Test and Overview) - English

Description

This is my new titanium cookset - a pot with a pan as a lid and the trangia Mini stove with a homemade windshield out of an old beer can.

As spoon and fork I got an Esbit folding titanium spork and as cup I use the fold-a-cup.

I also tested the whole setup with my Esbit stove. But watch the vid for more information J

hello and welcome to a new episode of the survival sulit 80 I've got myself a new cooking kit and this is the first test I do with it so I thought I want to share it with you guys and at first we have here a folding spark also made from titanium you can lock it up by push this part you down so it won't fold up on you when you're eating nice bit of kids very lightweight love it very compact design to this is the folding sport i also got myself a new bottle water bottle to drink out of this is made from the company sick in switzerland and I prefer this kind of cap over the normal one which is this one you're all notice this is the ceiling is better on this this is a really proof sipping proof but this quote yeah we'll lick and the next bit is the Trangia stove the Trangia mini and on this tram Germany I've got a snow pig titanium cattle 0.9 liters which means totally made out of titanium has this frying pan or lid both works locking handle locking mechanism and the pot itself with a measurement stamped into it and this great hands transia burner and we are really near to the rolling boil really really really near you can see there this is half liter of water have eight minutes 20 on the clock not the best performance but we have a rolling boil at eight thirty eight minutes 30 seconds so yeah that's the rolling boil and that's my new cooking kid for outdoors all to get our ways very less because the most of it is made out of titanium I also made myself a little wind screen for the Trangia mini very simple design made out of an old P you can just slot it the whole thing here you can see the wind screen just put it in this transient mini which is this aluminium still holding part here and inside of course the Trangia stove yeah you have to delete for the Trangia with the o-ring so you can transport the spiritus or the denatured alcohol inside the stove but just screwing this on and everything is sealed up very well and this is the simmering just slight is open and you can adjust the amount of flame oh that comes out of the stove great little design very useful very compact in design great stove last a long long long long time and yeah this is just a modification attend to the turn Germany and this here is very practical inventor because we know I've wintertime here in Austria and it's near to snow falling this is a German called for color which preheat the stove by putting some drops of denatured alcohol up on this fleece part here light it this one goes under the stove to heat up the alcohol in the stove and make sure that the stove also works in with the time with cold cold temperatures so these are three parts for the stove itself and the top now is empty and cleaned up inside this part fits everything here you can put the jam Germany the aluminum pot holding pot stands burner stove folder however you want to call it the stove the windshield a bottle of denatured alcohol also guarding this the folding spork and of course my folder cup the big one which holds zero point six liters of what big big one so we need to turn down I just filled in enough from this alcohol to make this test when everything is together I put this disband here around the whole pot set up and put the complete stuff in this bag which was included by buying this snow peak but it's a very very lightweight very small and compact and very useful outdoors too well guys the espied stove not quite as good as the Trangia alcohol stove I've also filled in half a liter of water and one of these big tablets which should burn for 13 minutes was not enough to boil the water they half liter of water so the Trangia was better in this point with the titanium part but because this is a drinking water from home this is enough for coffee break out in the woods so wasn't a rolling boil but heat it up to a good amount of heat up to the simmering of the water this little small bubbles but not enough for boiling

that's the pot let's take a look underneath oh okay so the pot gets much more dirty with the SPD tablet then with the alcohol from the Trojan soon here's the way how I pack everything up first the Trangia mini pot holder and the stove fold it in this cloth which is also good for cleaning the pot and prevents the hot inside for scratched up so this part here then of course the fuel my folding spot and normally I would put my folder cup inside upside down so that goes this way in but because I have this naw for drinking I put another cloth in so that prevents everything from rattling when it's in the pack up lit for Pam and I have my strap which is from the Trangia storm cooker stove goes over top pull it tight

Sakura strap and put everything in this netted bag so here we go that's it that's the whole package doesn't weigh a lot very compact in design very light because of titanium and works well if you like to cook outside or enjoy yourself a little brew so I hope you liked this video and see you soon in another video thanks for watching guys and girls have fun out there Mike from Survivor Mike you
