morning guys Dave Canterbury the Pathfinder school out here at the Pathfinder schools 3d archery range I have been testing a product today from a new affiliate of the Pathfinder school and their company name is primal gear Unlimited and they make a survival take down bow with 50 or 60 pound draw weight limbs depending on what you order at 28 inches comes with a nice continuous loop strength it has a machined aircraft aluminum riser and fiberglass limbs it is a three piece takedown longbow we're going to walk through this thing to that I'm going to show you how stored I'm going to show you how to put it together and assemble it and we're going to go out and shoot it I'm going to show you some different camera angles on some different things out here that we're shooting and we've been practicing anywhere from 10 to 20 yards today out here at the range so should be interesting stay with us guys okay guys when you receive your primal gear unlimited survival takedown bow it will come pretty much packaged like this and this is the way you store it the string will be in a plastic bag I just took that out you've got a retaining strap that goes around the center of the body of the bow I just put that in my mouth for a minute I store it on the bow when I'm done you're going to take the string off and at that point the limbs basically just fold out once you get the limbs folded out all you have to do is turn the retaining bolt and that keeps the limb in place on both sides I generally take my strap at that point take it down to the bottom of the bow and just wrap it around and rest it against that bottom retaining bolt so that I've got it when I need it right there your bow is going to come with a continuous loop string and it will have two different size loops one will be larger than the other the larger loop goes on the top of the bow so if the shelfs on the right hand side I'm going to put that large loop on that limb then I'm going to take the smaller loop and I'm going to connect it just like this to the bottom that will create a slide with this top a loop okay so once I have my string in place and I've flipped the boat over now knowing that I need the shelf facing a certain direction whether I'm left or right-handed I'll slide that loop up the upper limb tuck the lower limb into my boot pull the riser toward me to bend the limbs and push forward and seat the string I'll check to make sure that it's positioned correctly in both Knox and now I'm ready to go sheet my primal gear unlimited survival bow you
