I'll scout today just snowed last night I just don't like covering so you can really see the tracks really jump out at you

and

alright so looks like we might have a burro over here see some tracks as a nice spot

good spot to set up snare I saw another one over here these are all pretty active and I saw no money other side another good bowler right there so this would be a great spot to set up spring synare leg-hold trap anything like that and you got some covering right there some grass give you some camouflage and also next to the bar was going to notice that there's these trails going out into the fields like this one right here and there always beside the bar which it won't usually one on each side and that's um that's kind of like a little highway that they use the elect Obama to use animals like user side of tripped so we have that right there and then going along the trail here will be trail we use you can see it just runs up and down this road tons of tracks alright so looks like we have a young deer using these trails as well oh here and just see what they're after right here so this is some good bait to look for to pick your traps with now if you want to go for a leg-hold trap on something bigger like a deer you don't want to use the trails they use i saw the dr used a narrow road over here now you follow the tracks

and that is how she's getting to that field their guns you can see it just like that

so you can see trail right there

that's how she's getting in and out of this particular field at this particular point that's the stuff that you want to look up for as a prime trapping place especially down bottom right down there you want to try to get them you know when they're going down going up they get caught at a strange angle it just helps hold them that bit longer all right so we have rabbit right here this is the back that's the front way they run their front legs end up in front I'm sorry the back legs end up in front of in front with their front legs so it's actually a very long run it's all going to do is I'm going to walk up to that hedgerow right over there bunch of thorns and dead shrubbery that it ran into so I want to go up there and look around a bit more all right so this time the rabbit

someone that's eating these little corn husks a little kernel in there would be the ticket to a successful trap clock up enough of those make a nice little pile it's a rabbit Raksha Ryu heavy now tons yeah this is something interesting I just found looks like there's a little blood right here struggle thing to put on the picture who he is right there now that's on the snow it's just snow for the first time last night so that tells me is a killer around here I'm gonna look around for it all right look you what we have here I'm frozen yeah that was this morning I

now this morning so we got a dead rabbit right here so we get some predators here as well as prey make sense all this right here all these innards that you see bring a little closer inside oh yeah still some meat on those bones and bake your traps at those there's a nice fine god I came out here today alright so we have to kill right here then it's on a trail and I see some sign like this feather right there I'm sorry I feather rougher

body well rather the animal that preyed upon this animal ended up going in this direction and I just looked not even that far maybe five feet in the trail it's a bowl right there nice little air all right in there some fresh tracks might be a fox or something that lives in there I'm not sure tracks are pretty covered over which means this happened so really this morning it was still snowing it was probably about six o'clock this morning I'm still flurrying out so I partially covered the track you can see right there they're not not distinct tracks anymore see how they probably partly covered over so I kind of built a timeline for me it also explains why that rabbit spooked so early that I saw when I first came here I mean it took off at the first sign you know I probably have probably witnessed witness the scale might even have been a potential victim potential prey thought of their animal alright well we'll see what else we have around here and I'll get back with you guys all right listen we have prime spot tons of rabbit tracks leading in there's a ticket right there is the path right in there I'd like to go into brambles you want to get them on the the entry points negative points so you're looking for a place to land all right there's been mention with nita survival thanks for joining me on this little scout I just know it's coming out for a few minutes this morning and you know had some fresh snow so I want to check the sign now found that kill no real happy with that I'm really happy I came out here so anyways thanks a lot for joining me I appreciate you using you support and I'll see you on the next one take care
