its mission in a survival and Sean the toolbox and now we're going to talk about what's all right now here's another plant that I recognized from home but I don't recognize it from home and is it it's one of these strange phenomenons for me this this blunt here okay with the three heart-shaped petals and share that bed up let's get a closer loan okay okay at home it's called wood sorrel it's called the same plant here at home ours doesn't grow like this as a trailing vine it grows up individual little stems your flowers also a different to ours if as your flowers let's get those on friend I'll have a little white four petal flowers and it tastes the same and you know this is something on it emphasized if you see a plant then it looks like something you recognized don't just go and start eating the leaves because it could be a completely different species and you know you could make yourself ill I'm you know I'm working in conjunction with with Mitch both of us a fairly knowledgeable and wild plants and you will be using our knowledge and our experience from two different continents to try and you know decide what these plants are some of your plants seem to have different names to what I have them and they're obviously slightly different subspecies so but this plant here is wood sorrel and it takes the same look the same it just growing in a different manner all right well let's enjoy some and you'll notice that it has a nice are lemony zing to it yep I think it's just so gorgeous some people say an apple peel sure I've been described as right so you know I've eaten this plant before so I know it's edible you know Shawn knows it's edible on his countenance just in a different form you know hmm and if in doubt don't risk it indeed but this is good knows about these flowers because haven't burst at me and you can get nectar out and they're really good at me love it okay so you can find wood soul just right here on page now I'm sorry 104 of the Petersons guide just on page 104 as you can see it as the three leaves on what soil kind of heart-shaped okay so yeah it does mention that you know it's very clover like heart-shaped leaflets says sour taste right here tastes just like lemons or like Rama saying apple peels all right let's be mature native survival and showing the silver fox we appreciate your views comments and support every day
