Oh

Oh

its mission in survival when I do a pie notable vid there's a nine that I know of this is one of them alright so at the end of the twigs right there you see these little growths right here and these actually create the pollen absolutely delicious very simple just break them off all right as we look like close-up look like little ears of corn and now eventually dry out a little bit and turn kind of papery and release a whole bunch of pollen alright so I just have quite a few here

they almost dissolve immediately in your mouth they have a slight crunch to them then they're gone and you have a lot of fluid in them it tastes very alkaline very thin hardly like pine at all absolutely phenomenal

probably my favorite edible that can be found on the pine tree and it's so easy to gather gather two or three at a time you know just keep chomping away and this part of the year the tree is putting all this energy exactly at that point on the tree so right now this is the most nutritionally dense I help these part of the tree to eat so I like to forage based on the cycles of the plant and that way you can get the most out of it you know it basically amounts to eating the best part of the plant at the time that is the best right and that just changes throughout the season now the cool thing about this that fee is that there at the end of nearly every single twig so I mean the tree it's thousands absolutely thousands so they're really easy to gather because there's a huge amount of them and for example just look at all those right there

each one has to have a dozen at least on that and that's probably three dozen twigs on this one branch that are just loaded

alright let's mention in survival appreciate your views your promised me support see the next one you
