as much needed survival I like to tap metal maple trees and make my own syrup I usually use these tabs I figure we try this year a little experiment it's a type of maple tree collected SAP without this as a previous tap of mine and a couple years ago and the plug gets in there so I'm going to put on the tap right next to it okay so I'm still going to use my drill bit but I'm taking pieces out of the puzzle by taking the the tap out it's one less piece to the puzzle that I need slide upward angle it's the last drill bit i have so i need to be very careful it's extremely easy to break a drill bit in a tree yes let's measure all right about maybe a half-inch all right there we go so I've got my pot underneath it I have the hole right there okay so i have a maple twig here i'm going to just break off section of it see how it fits in the hole doesn't fit well let's grab another section not a big deal all right basically i'm going to put in like this hope the SAP drips down off the bottom this little wire right here and just push that a nice and fun so see how that goes okay so I'm going to keep an eye on that see how the SAP runs off that twig appreciate your views combs in sport see you guys in the next one take care
