mmm

Oh

Oh

all right so Sam deals before it's doing it lefty

again I want the perfect alignment with my bevel

very lightly cool the edge so as you can see very easily where I've sharpened already I've been touched the tip yet see all the patina and everything from here on all the tannin and resins and the edge is just not keen like it is here obviously so I'm looking at you along with us and I'll get back to you

all right so both edges are looking better than when I started you can see the nice mirror image on them now nice mirror edge rather so then I do the exact same thing with the smooth side and I don't do it as many times doesn't take his money basically it's exact same thing follow the exact same procedure in the exact same way all right and then after I make a single pass

let's flip it over and do it again turn the stone over now it's cleaner on this side on the clinic quite as much all right so just finish that up on both sides well I made a couple passes and the edge feels strong and true the whole way

let's cut myself there it's very sharp now what I like to do is clean off my stone get it set to go again and this time I rotate my stone instead of going the long way go the short way reason why I do that is that it adds a bunch of bite to the blade and what I mean by that is that the blade is very sharp and very strong right now but it just seems I can get it to have even a little more bite he just grabs you a little bit more if I go like this and I lightly do circles very very lightly everything else is exactly the same work my way up I feel in the area that needs to be worked on a little more I back off and I keep going towards the area and backing off until it feels good let's do it to both sides all right

nice clean sharp edge extremely sharp

check my edge be very careful but to make sure it grabs you never spot sceetos and nasty right now I just wipe the skin off because it takes away puts a little slices and stuff like that scrapes like your skin turns into like powder that's really shot all right so that's how I go about sharpening my nice if I'm going to use a manufactured stone really really simple I just use the rough edge then the smooth edge and first I make the the edge nice and true by going lengthwise both ways you know and then I add bite by going perpendicular to it and cutting towards the edge because that that's what the circles do it cuts towards the edge this blade is just absolutely laser beam sharp now ready to go and it really doesn't take that much time you know it's 15 minutes and you can go from a blade that's been sharpened in a couple weeks to absolute perfection all right so thanks for joining me today I appreciate your views your comments me support remember to always keep your edges shot
