hey there just Mitchell the native of school today I just on a whim jumped into a little used shop and ran into an old school vintage pack basket check this out

all right talk about epic sing is incredible couple splits are broken it's really really old I don't know how old it is but has a lot of age on it now the splints I've noticed have branch nodes and scars and knots i started cleaning up this side i'm going to try to get as much of the dust off as I can it's huge inside he's massive looking forward to putting this into service it's going to take some work yeah what I'm going to do is I'm going to hand this off I'm going to ship this to somebody that is a master that baskets master at a lot of crafts but packed baskets he surely is a master yeah somebody that in front of on Lions name is Nick the work he does is just insane it's really really just top shelf he's the one that told me I didn't have a log splint basket but a sapling splint so he splints me from saplings sapling splint splinting he said it wasn't a Adirondack basket he told me it was a just a burden basket so this is a sapling splint burden basket just pretty cool he said it's a bit uncommon a little more rare instead of using the splits by taking the wood off of a log you know it has a certain look he said this is from sapling what you said was pretty interesting so I'm gonna ship it to him he's pretty excited to work on it he's going to get it back into working condition for me it needs a lot of work he was telling me a bunch of things that needed so he's going to get this thing back to its former glory as it were no I'm honored that he would want to work on it help me out so Nicholas across the country from me so I'm going to ship the tombs going to take a little while I imagine for him to refurbish this and get it back into a good working condition he was talking about building parts like the rim all sorts of stuff so I'm looking forward to see what happens when I get back what a find what a fine i mean just what a gift just random just out of nowhere i was driving down the road and decided to pull into a little shop that i've seen dozens and dozens of times and I've just never gone into it so what I find in there and then I come home and post a picture online nice asked him a question about it he wants to work on it incredible couldn't be better so I truly am blessed for such occurrences to happen and it's going to take a while again I don't know how long it's going to take the work on but when I get it back don't you guys know we'll check it out it's going to show this amazing vintage pack basket I got or a burden basket as nick says it's a burden basket sapling style very cool it's finished in a survival school be sure to always enjoy the outdoors you can find an antique shop jump in there you ever know what you gotta find take care you
