okay so I'm gonna make some pine Bannock and to do so one of the edibles on a pine that's good are these little mini cones when you get them really young they just break open like that they're good very nice flavor this is the pine that crashed into camp that I had to buck up and break down yesterday even bill to get to my benches a lot of times good

what's a building so it's gonna keep collecting these so let's do maybe uh I don't know handful I don't know let's break them up throw me my benefits I love tree food man nuts and stuff maple sugar nuts and fruit I'm such a tree guy I love tree food I'm nuts

pine nuts we're gonna have some time flying Bannock I haven't made this in like six years or something legit nice to be known for I was a guy with me pine Bannock know what nobody made pine Bannock look I tried it one day cuz my thing was I always used some sort of wild edible at all times my panic cuz that was just my base and I always grab something do berries blueberries crab apples whatever it was and it was winter one time and I'm like Faria I'm gonna go find some pine cuz I wrote articles on all the nine edibles on pines and all that stuff that was like my other thing was like the dude who eats pine you know you know he's like brilliant dude go grab some pine I come back we tried it he's like mm-hmm that was like the best panic ever had I'm like yeah me too like I came to a good that was I wasn't sure if he'd be good or not but it was new special stuff and so that became the thing every time every single camp out of me pine Bannock people would like like this but like try pine Bannock he'd be like oh my god and whatever and then it got around like the community and everything else and then I just like cold turkey

I'm manic total for like three four years or something it's been a long time put that pine though the last time had been close with my daughter like four years ago I'd crabapple Dannic I'm gonna make some pine Bannock IRA made this in years and years and years hoping my battery will hold out let's make a little batch here my old plank I used to use is long gone this is a new one it's a little smaller so a mix in there one of those you know BAM I kind of go fast with this and look with that later I'm gonna throw pine in there now and so to do that I need to take these little amen no no my first drive these little on pine cones that are really young they're brand-new for the spring and if you can get to a pine cone early it breaks and it's like green meat inside it's totally edible and it's good so inside my mix gonna break a bunch of these up a couple times ideally I would dye some up with my knife but I guess I'm kind of being lazy a maybe I'll do a couple give me excuse to cut something so you got these little green disks filled with white meat inside and sap and they're really succulent and tender and you never know that there are pine cones just so early that they're theirs they're not woody woody yet not woody yet YUM

okay throw that on my mix pine benek right on throw that in there not some water have a real careful of water put you much in it's ruined all right so here it is now you gotta just cook it it looks a little wet looks a little a little sticky there's you mean so I just put a little bit too much water so it might and I kind of flowed him down while I'm cooking it so I'm gonna have to watch it cook it a little slower when it's drier you can really hit it with higher heat but when the sugar starts melting everything kind of gets flowy so we'll see what happens I grabbed one I could have grabbed two by only girl boy came in second yeah I supposed to get a second okay so here's my plank I'm gonna cook with that one to DA aggressive get him out yet there's a bunch of cool honestly like I was I wanted that coffee two to three seconds that was he'll do it all right so now I'm gonna rotate it so you can see nice and blue on the brown I'm gonna go to this side do the same thing anybody ever have kimchi before a little closer one two three yeah about to come out three seconds yeah nice man Mike oh yeah oh geez burn it real good okay that's like all right right on so now we're we're browning up this way

unfortunately this board my other bullets better so off they will just go to the middle now it is what it is usually uh usually it's much better all right so you know a little less w2 a little none of this vinegary bakery a steak you don't know how long it's been sitting on the shelf at maintain my coals yes you know - interesting that's how to cook the middle now leave it sticking to that sticking to that board mitt

he does know she is cash and all the Middle's nicely cooked brown in the middle my dish all the way around looking pretty good it's all set try it out alright so here's the Bannock there we go it's unlucky to cut Bannock I've heard so I'm gonna just break it take a little cut into that and just do you know not really cut wasn't it caught it wasn't a cut right okay yep okay so it's gooey in the middle that's a good sign crispy on the outside big pine chunks the taste test oh man that is a stout time Bannock who would like a piece come get it there you go

punkin chunkin sure I'll have a piece of this hockey puck muffins oh dude I love it with this little pine cones Graham mm-hmm oh it's awesome it's a real taste of oh yeah lay down tastes good stung you down all right hey don't lay down won't give it to you now boy

lay down all the way oh yeah nice job Mitch yeah lay down I'm a little rusty it's been a couple three years or so it's a couple three no bill cookie yeah yeah pretty much it's not traditional it's not traditional Bannock at all it's not a pine comes through oh yeah doesn't it's really not traditional something I came came up on my own just kind of whatever nice stuff I thought was good I saw one guy he wears a tactical and he's like works for the military and all that stuff I forget his channel kid oh he is he's total badass incredible soldier and each one was part of the brothers to bushcraft all that stuff I really forget who he is unfortunately look I can see his face but I can't see his name anyways I saw in his panic he had pancake Mitch and everything else was like whatever Wow praise him disco I saw that and almost like really and then so then I decided to start experimenting and wholly not traditional yeah I make mine to look with a little more sugar and a little more lemon or two so in it because I fry mine in the cast iron with oil yup so I want it I want it to be like you know mini stone right that sounds good oh cool right mister last piece but I always try to bring Jim I'd either made or like very good measure nice thanks guys I appreciate it it's pine you know so it's kind of rare yeah I usually run into that too much so I missed you
