a submit to native survival today we're making some wild berry panic don't go away alright since what I'm looking for right here get some dewberries going in on the ground take couple of these this one is ready you can switch them a little bit a little soft then you know they're ready now to bury grow in a low trailing vine like this and there's my new pairs on the stem and it's three leaves like many of the other briars grass Barry blackberry so usually find carpets of the stuff that's what all this is on the ground so if it looks like a rise Barnes growing on the ground dewberry okay so I have a couple dad to my Bannock I'm gonna grab a bit more and i'll get back to you alright so we get some blueberries here i mentioned them before the elliptical leaves make great infusions but this is what i'm looking for the berry with the crown like i said before right all right found another grape fetch this is a this is blackberries

and here's a monster right here I know it's blackberries because it's not white on the underside of the leaf litter would be raspberry all right that one plan had a nice little bounty on that's gonna be awesome in the Bannock all right so late night in panic it's uh yeah that time I'll do it not plenty for breakfast sir absolutely moving in for the kill Jeff some brown sugar in there change my mix up a little bit this plant thank you

seats

alright so now I have it a decent consistency where it doesn't really want to flow but it's still will flow that's that's exactly how you want so

everyone went out and collected some berries look at these two monsters you know spread this out a little bit at the berries oh yes looks at all this is Iron Chef primitive style I just got ass Barry baby yep all right let a little bit more since a touch dry hmm to tell take care of it I'll be really careful with your water content Bannock you add too much will flow right off your board all right I'm good to go it's going to go right on my plank you clean up and I'll get back to you all right so here's my solid mass of embers and I've the logs stacked behind it going this way with one going across the perpendicular and I pushed us all the heat out to where my back is going to be right here now this is a little stickier than usual that's a good thing is when these cook down they're going to liquefy I want to be all the same thickness that way cook evenly ok

nice and a run it's here let me try to clean up the edge a little bit all right a stout Bannock on it goes check the heat can't keep my hand in there more than a few seconds that's a good start I'm gonna start cooking the slow start for a minute alright so as I turn it the brown part moves across I've ground here I'm around here and I have to do the other edges I'll show you a cool trick you can fill up your cap with your water ball if it's looking like it's drying out a little bit you can spritz water onto it remove Sarai's the surface where it gets dry first there's two main enemies of a good Bannock a banach that's too wet and gooey and it won't stay on your board and a bank it's too dry

good stuff so panic is finished I want a corner looking beautiful if you have a corner to circle all right so I always rip a piece off I don't like the cut bank that's outside start over here oh yeah

did they bury right there mm-hmm Oh ma'am oh yeah that boy was a surprise good stuff Joe he was the subtract all right Joe you put your doing very badly huh mm-hmm everyone help me collect berries to make this I will decide this is Scott saves you a nice crispy and I'll it over the canyon guys it's like nature's pop-tart mmm it's almost like mmm it's like you made oatmeal and you put enough water at oh yeah berries are awesome I'm trying to pick this up in with my camera at the same time I don't dare I don't dare do I'll dad let go all right piece number two all that mix lasts whoo that's good stuff long the left no I brought half a zip lock bag no I means like preserve and I can I can easily make three bandits out of that how long will last yeah you have to make this dry mix already turn into Bannock or not no I've in your backpack well give me honest it doesn't last too long my pack I can't go more than a month before my mix is gone so I found in a month my pack no issues all right so we got left the middle middle for the chef all right let's been mentioning survival the Bannock is gone appreciate your views commented sport again try some wild berry Bannock you will be happy see you next time take care

you
