Oh

you

I'm here in the woods shooting videos and the ground was all scorched over there I don't know one knows a problem but while I'm here I just turned around and there's a flare up look at that do the force just ignited from the wind all by itself oh my goodness see it scorched all down there all down there all around me see that it's all scorch down there the section of force it's all scorched that is crazy i hain't go put that out Wow could see someone's already run some hose lines out here down this path in the forest that's insane I just looked over and it was a two foot flame just standing there two foot flame Warren look at my feet see that see a smoldering

this is why I tell my students this is why the common field standard is to never ever ever bury your fire ever never do it always put it out that's the common field standards I've seen people that teach otherwise they say oh just suffocate your fire it will be fine it's not the case never bury a fire and if you light a fire on this material the Duff or it's like leaves or pine needles anything like that never throw your ashes on pine needles never throw your ashes on Duff like this ever never do it and if you make a fire in any area that is set up like this you have to absolutely make sure the fire is out look at this is more it's more right there do that I bet if I blow on that'll be a big amber on the ground up it's more further down to right there wow this is crazy middle this forest is just smoldering all right well I'm gonna do my part to put some of this out as best I can I mean this whole thing look at that it's all smoldering right there to the whole section in front of me is smoldering that's right at my feet yeah I'm gonna have to throw some water on that stamp it out but I mean there's acres out here that's charred like that it very well could all go up like that just did a minute ago I mean those literally flames

two foot swings yep it sizzle them too oh yeah it's like an active fire pit acres big I just had my single canteen with me hanging out of the woods for a couple hours shooting some videos trying to enjoy myself and I find the spot of woods that's all charred and is that fire hose leading right into it on a trail on the forest I can feel the heat it's all underneath me I'm gonna have to notify the fire department they're obviously the ones i would assume that brought p I brought the hoses out here I got to let them know because it's flaring back up this is not good all right how you doing you work for the fire department Oh fantastic I just gonna call you guys yeah man we had some serious a creek that's molding right now I just saw a two foot flame I was up sitting over there sitting down talking to my camera yeah I just wasn't bad Wow yeah I really is this uh Wow down to Lydia till he dig it up to get out and we would have never known that unless we called the emanate a minute so look yeah yeah notice how to do it was pretty cool yeah well the toughest so DP I don't mention it I made Frank cool but I just engine one supposed to come back stair district I suppose vehicles come back soon and I'll go yeah it's smaller over there where were the good spots right here where was the two foot to foot was right here behind my camera yeah yeah yeah we're monitoring all right in that spot right there were it uh yeah right right there is I literally was standing right in that rock outcropping I'll go of it got two foot flame just cranking like someone had kindling like they were you know cooking food it's amazing wait you guys know how it started you have any idea it's weird they were people i talk to people a firefighter was at stop and shop at three in the afternoon yeah what day was it tuesday night Tuesday afternoon and he could smell you could stay up thursday yeah he could smell brush fire we didn't get a call north smithfield was in this area I came in as cranston street person for a brushfire right they couldn't find it they they call for help to find it they cleared not knowing where it was it could have been on a line yeah of course not knowing where what they cleared and engine one came and found they came the cake they came here slaughtered by yeah yeah they were here all night from 1130 come on yeah 1130am or 1130 at night till the next day Wednesday we're here all day Wow yeah here just don't spot right there that's going right at that tree yeah trees growing so long it's gonna burn but oh no check it out actually who's that yeah it's all over it's a hollow tree yeah that's going right into the tree that's not good I'll let them know yeah well I'm glad you guys know about I mean clearly somebody dick is as these hoses here you know but I didn't know we just leave them we send the truck whenever you see spots to use right we had a odds diameter hose thousand feet of it from mirage you know at hydrant Wow and we have we just ran off of the pressure we had from the hyphen the engine didn't have to do anything but we also had we went through the engine because we had class a foam that sinks through better right to get to the 18 inches yeah that's insane this I'll be back up all right on thank you yep no thank you there it is huh it's about a fire fire in the woods already privy to your hair all night couple nights ago last night yesterday fighting it crazy de emissary said I mean that's all try look at all that but we were looking at was this tree over here there's a tree that is actually Hollow up straight in front of us yes

look at that smoldering inside the tree that's not good I mean there it's just it's just trying to burn everywhere so he was just out here scouting checking it out I was just gonna call already here

you have to have perfect fire procedures I mean this is not this is not a joke you can't go into the forest light a fire and not know what you're doing you have to have to put it out properly you can't just bury a fire you have to be able to hold the embers in your hand so that embers anymore it's mud put water on it make sure it's fully out before you leave I mean this acres here and it's just flaring up and they're gonna probably come back tonight I assume when the next hour to douse the whole thing down he said Environmental Management came here and they dug down and they found that it was still smoldering and still on fire 18 inches deep this is why guys say that know what they're doing that set the standards in the field that teach the standards in the field guys like Ray Mears they say in their literature and also in video in their media they say to never light fire on Duff because the ground itself can a light and it can smolder for weeks and flare back up weeks later this is exactly what it looks like exactly what it looks like I mean the ground is basically made of tinder it's a big tinder bundle which is why when I see people put embers from their fire pit when they're done in the mountains of New Hampshire I saw that recently a guy was a caretaker the land out there put his embers on the pined off this is what happens this is what you don't do that's why i said--that's why I said I would have put my embers on the gravel in the riverbed because it won't smolder after a while Ron they won't burn it's on tinder can make a tinder bundle from dirt from gravel from rocks it's very important it's dangerous you cannot mess around which can't just go out in the woods have fun build fires and think it's okay and walk away you know if you run out of water from your canteen you better go get water bring it back I use your camp and do my videos and all that next to a water source I run out of water I go collect more water I make sure my fire is up very dangerous to not put a fire all properly see the ground is all scorched that's what it should look like it's all burnt trees a charred it's been a week since the fire started out here it used to be hoses on the ground spoke with firemen right over there but unfortunately it's still burning for sure

found itself is a light a week later nobody in sight acres of it see that see the embers yeah ground is orange the victim to bundle I'm literally standing on fire bed right now

dangerous stuff you can see the whole forest in this area is just all charred going across the path all charred charred

fire burning continues up here as all up in here too hasn't come down through here it blew over this way and came down I don't know how far it goes that way either somebody's house down that path this is crazy with that it's just on fire

I hope to god it doesn't agree ignite you
