hey it's for shooting survival say when and go over the crabapple tree stay tuned I apologize for the low light conditions I don't have my head lamp or anything else with me today and the Sun is already going down okay I'm in a very dense woodland small pond over there this is what I came here for this tree right above me right here it's a crabapple tree how you see it has large clusters of fruit on with this crab apples there's a bunch of them hanging let's taste some okay so I just grabbed four of them that one cluster it's just an apple right all you have to do she's not eat the seeds in the middle and you good to go get the outside mmm tastes like the larger cousins the red apples these are right as well they're right delicious

hmm

absolutely incredible

you can see they are loaded with me I'm chopping all around I'm not even close to getting the seeds mmm mmm really juicy delicious truly one of my favorite edibles of all time is wild apple hmm so this one's done see Irish the seed right there absolutely awesome now Apple is really cool because they can be used to make jellies preserves basically you use the pectin that's in here you know you add apples to other things like wild rose like wrinkled rose and when you mix them together you simmer them together the pectin from the Apple creates a jam or jelly if you don't have the pectin then it's not going to work you have a surp so pretty interesting stuff the Apple is a good ingredient for other things and it's obviously amazing as an edible in and of itself I think I'm gonna gather some of these up as well maybe make some apple Barack at a later date alright so I got here just in the nick of time it's gonna be dark here real soon I'm going to gather a bunch of these little mini apples these little crab apples the absolutely delicious I've had all different varieties I've had yellow ones I've had red ones like this and they're all really good and i really i really think that wild apples is a very interesting edible was very valuable edible it's something that's very easy to identify all apple trees have the same kind of growth pattern you know they're very kind of spindly and jagged they take like interesting like angles you know and they have like a little kind of spikes on them it's very interesting because it's another tree that creates a lot of edibles you know it creates a large amount of these just like autumn olive and some other trees like the oak with with its acorns in the Northeast the apple is the most delicious fruit in my opinion that grows so heavily and it's not edible so easily well as a missionary survival I do apologize for the darkness I do not have my headlamp on my lantern out here with me but I did want to come out here real quick and gather up some of these crab apples super delicious and I'm really looking forward to eating them some binaca take care have a great day
