hey yo this is Misha at the native survival school say when I go over the ultimate tinder bundle staging so all's needed is a chunk of dry wood sap is B pine and a coal extender something fluffy to put in the middle of the tender bundle to help your amber grow and heat in size and length of burn time first thing I need to do to make some curls this piece where the curls are still stuck on the stick I'll keep so I can hold everything together basically all I'm doing

just making tender bundle are these curls

so I have my bundle of curls right in the middle I have a little cavity like I said it's just basically a handful of curls it's all there is to it I'm just building it on top of this feather stick for convenience I could just take a bundle put my amber in the middle be good to go take some of this cat tail go right in the middle okay let's give it a shot here's my number I'm gonna put it beside my bunt over here all right a feather bundle a few pieces over the Ember here we go here we have it OOP claim it curls are on fire I'm over my blankets I'm being careful here gonna let it absolutely catch

see there we have it feather curl tender bundle why is this valuable let's talk about that right now okay so why is this valuable why is this the ultimate tinder bundle it's a very simple sticks are everywhere sticks are fuel six of what used to make you fire you can have sticks anyways if you want to make a fire you know always gonna have dry material to make a tinder bundle

whether it be dry grasses broom sedge cedar bark birch bark over the case is there's always items that are good for tinder bundles and I always dry during rainstorms things like grasses and the real good tinder bundles like that are absolutely soaked I'm not gonna work and if they do work basically gonna be a miracle they don't work for tinder bundles when you stuff is soaked when you're out in the woods and you get caught in some rain rains all the time you don't have any tender bundles you know what do you use for a tender bundle in the summer what do you use when there's less dead material laying around what do you use when everything's so it's been raining for a week well you don't make fire primitively with tender bundles at all no the solution is you make curls you make feathers that's all you got to do just make a bunch of feathers about

softball-sized and you put your cat sale or whatever is he nominee put on the inside and you're all set you just treat it like a normal tinder bundle from that point on he ignites very easily actually as you saw I mean I only blow on it a few times it's being gentle with it I you have to work harder with my broom sedge and my other natural materials feathers work very very well and they are one of the best five starters around feathers and curls can be made with sticks as long as you have a knife and even with stone knife will make feathers and curls so you really can't beat it because it gets your fire started with a tinder bundle and that wood is dry on the inside if you had to pour down thunderstorm you could knock over a dead standing tree a sapling pine oh whatever you want make some curls out of it and then all you got to do is make it's in the bundle right there and you're good to go you make some extra curls throw them on top for some extra tender like feather sticks or just curls like a big bundle curls throw your sticks on there you're done so I think that the ultimate tinder bundle is one that can be made in any condition in any season and work effectively feather curls do that appreciate you views come see sport as we met with Nate survival school I'll see you in the next one take it
