making them all this day card my wife taking a piece of birch bark brought a trimmed it up a little curve on it just on the top just going to open up be a card right now I'm making a latch and carving two holes cutting tools just going to fit just like this I'm just going to slide inside on both sides keep it closed

I mean I think being able to craft things out of items you find in your environment it's really important makes you familiar with the material and you end up gaining skills that could be used in the future for something else cut a little chamfer on the end so little bubble of the birch bark making a little thinner

can't see what ya since the tab the time on the opposite side here we go so now has a little tab holding it closed to open it she just has to pull it free open our card now I'm going to just write some things that it's personal for her I just wanted to share this quick little craft with some birch bark just took a couple minutes and hopefully she'll like it still little tight new yeah nice little birch bark latch I imagine people wrote their Diaries at some point like this and they just filled up their little book with more little folds of birch bark and keep them all together just put a couple stitches through them I mean little books so yeah mess around the materials in your area figure out how to do different things with them it's just something I thought of never seen this done before never seen a birch bark latch like that could come in handy one day all right all right you twisted my on is the back NS cards look I need to squabble logo
