I do and this is Mitch with the needed survival school today we're going to go over how to use a compass stay tuned so let's go over how to find direction with a compass so to find a direction with the compass I'm using a silver model 15 all I'm going to do is put whatever direction I want to find at the very top so let's say I want to find self and I put self at the top next I'm going to put my red needle north into the red box my red box is moved as I turn my bezel rim so South is on top I'm going to turn my compass until my red needle is inside the red box so it looks like that so I hold the cup in front of me and I keep rotating myself until my red North needle is inside the red box which it is now I'm facing south so I'm going to turn my bezel ring until West is on the top

Wes is on the top I'm going to rotate my compass and myself until the right needle is lined up with the red box I'm now tracing what let's do another one what student northeast is north and east there's the line the middle let's Northeast so I'm going to turn my compass until my needle is lined up with the red box north east as you can see finding a chart showing the compass is extremely easy you just turn your bezel ring until the direction you want to go is facing to the top then you rotate yourself and the compass until the right needle lines up with the red box wherever it may lie you're now facing the direction at the top of the compass there's Ben Mitchell the native survival school see you the next week take care
