okay so today I'm going to review a sheath kydex sheath that I got from Doug Wilson yellow hawk custom kydex it is for a Maura it's for my more high Q discontinued knife now give you a closer look so this is a sheath that a friend of mine bought for me coyote brown body breath brown faux rod holder my more doesn't have a 90-degree spine so I have the striker can't come outside it tied to the sheet right through there slide it right underneath the housing I also keep a far ride and you have course shock cord locking it in actually it's locked in from the angle of the sheet so i have to give it a good pull before i can even get free i mean it's it's in there it's an fo sure definitely locks in good everything on the sheath is very tight very solid it's got that kydex click Doug always talks about here we go I don't do dangle that's not my style so he had a much longer loop that I went ahead and cut down and I just Rhysode it onto the d-ring now rides a little higher on my hip nice and soft and the thumb it's good chief this is a good chief there's no question about it has a nice artistic style to it now if there's any negative something I discuss it this is a review one negative of this for me personally is when i use or i'll actually the only negative not one negative the only negative 2 this is that it's a little pointy right here it's a little sharp I mean it's not sharp to the finger but sometimes I carry this in my pocket like a pocket knife so I carry in my pocket right EDC IQ kydex sheath good to go the only downfall to that is this artistic point digs into the front of my pocket right here that's where the point goes and it's wearing a hole for my pants obviously the sheath isn't designed to be used in a pocket so it's being used against its intended purpose on my hip but when i hit the woods comes out of the pocket right on the hip good to go I mean huge solid d-ring on here big hardware everything is tight tight tight I mean tight yellow hawk custom kydex owned and operated by Doug Wilson certainly gets the job done there's no question about that it's good chief his duck Scott
