Oh

smashing its Bible it will make the king of spices

all right

one gallon of ocean water alright so back at the campsite gonna reduce this let's see what we come up with yep

what

all right so that's actually the last of it right there it's boiling down the whole gallons been reduced water looks real real briny the dark color on it the rim as white on it as well as the bottom the the bottom of the whole pot is like a cloudy white so hopefully I'm gonna have some salt on the bottom there I'm gonna reduce down we'll see what I got alright coming along now probably a half inch left or so you can see a lot of salt kicking on the sides getting close alright so now we're getting somewhere a lot of real real milky-white tons of salt everywhere all the sides all settling at the bottom so okay so series is something on the outside

oh yeah just about there I keep putting in the fire heating up and taking it out mixing it up just working on getting rid of the last bit of moisture that's in there all right my first time making salt and then definitely pleased with the results there's only a gallon of seawater I mean there's ton of salt here that's just that's crazy the crazy amount of salt and there's still a bunch on the side that can be scraped yeah I notice it as it dries it comes off easier this scrapes right off so some serious alright here so now of course the taste test

Wow whoo yep oh yeah

that's powerful

Wow I should kiss stronger than assault that uh I usually carry that I buy from the store Wow stuff is potent that's awesome

that's a ton of salt you know that's that's the king right there of all seasonings the king Wow yeah that's that's a ton that's awesome tastes absolutely amazing really powerful as a ton of uses you know obviously it makes things taste better you know which is hugely key you know usually key rabbit tastes great rabbit salted tastes phenomenal that goes for anything this is what makes food taste really good right we all know that salts awesome it's a huge chunk of it right here and all costomers a couple hours of boiling down some seawater a big deal I can obviously preserve meat with this as well you know salt rubs dry out the meat you know microorganisms can't grow in meat like jerky and things like that will you make it really thin you salt it up even larger pieces like big Hank's if you put enough salt on it it absorbs and pulls all the moisture out of the meat and that stops bacteria from being able to form because there's no moisture for them this is a this is old school right here and just like you know just to give you guys a little realization on how much salt I really just made today so this is how much salt I carry I mean this has been in my pack for months salt and pepper combination just something I just taped together and what I just made way bigger than my whole container of salt I mean probably double maybe even triple the amount of salt that I carry so I literally in one day just replenish my salt supply two to three times just from boiling down some water in one day that's huge I mean this isn't like you know I got a little bit and I can you know make one or two meals taste good I mean this is like long-term storage capabilities right here there's a lot of salt right there that's a lot of meals and this is stronger than my store belt but that my store bought salt a lot stronger this is absolutely amazing delicious huge hunk like I said really one with a couple hours and this could be done with rocks you know in a birch bark container burned-out container anything like that you know just reducing the simplest thing in the world to do all right well I'm real pleased with that this is the first time I've ever attempted to mix salt and you know it was exceedingly successful experiment in my opinion I mean hey I can probably replenish my salt supply that I keep in my rucksack you know almost three times and that saw was lasted me you know a long time so I'm really excited that it was so easy to make such a large amount of salt I mean there was no there's no games none it was literally reduced salt water period I didn't do any filtering and do anything nothing I just kept it on the fire get the fire going that's it a couple hours no big deal I reduced the gallon down you know a gallon is nothing to reduce because if anyone makes maple syrup you know that you have to basically have eight gallons do you have anything so a gallon is a piece of cake that's like a couple hours tops no big deal you know and and you get something that's so valuable you know salt is extremely valuable

it makes things taste good it it it's very healthy for your body to have salt in it you know it helps with your with your moisture control in your systems as well you know it helps us a lot of things like like the the electrolysis in your system as well salt is huge salt is huge and the fact that I made enough that will last me that long well that's just amazing you know I'm really happy with the turnout again it can be used to you know preserve food and things like that well submission native survival thanks for joining me today as we recreate in the wild the king of all seasonings salt previews constants port okay
