hey doing this is mitchell donated survival school today we're going to make an improvised to a blanket caught stay tuned

what i have for why sticks so I'm putting my will blanket into an improvised stretcher

yeah my way down pretty soon too they look good tonight nice little fire all right so I got sidetracked with making dinner and a whole bunch of little stuff so waited till further the night to make my bed alright so the frame for this wool blanket caught it is why sticks or in this case is actually V sticks used beach and off of that why I put a cross brace just one on each side so i have my improvised stretcher which is my bed sits on this frame it's really simple really easy to change the height by pounding the stakes you can change the levels very simple straightforward it looks like why stick the cross branch so on one end and put it on the back for each side have it on the outside of the V so the Front's on the inside the back is on the outside so when I sit in it wants to slide together they want to come together and that stops it that doesn't move that stops it just stops that whole mechanism happening keeps it tight

I get in a pretty jr. would back a little bit aged the cross breeze is it cool my wool blanket right there over it now we're talking so nice beautiful so yeah we'll blanket bushcraft caught improvised stretcher over frames clean on a lot of work bust up the pieces with an axe I'm really liking it get off the ground I'm away from tix it's summer ticks are ferocious right now not even an issue so rather than having these a hammock another piece of gear I can just use my wool blanket I'm really digging this rig because I've done hammocks with my little blanket but I find that it contorts it and stretches it and you know puts like permanent warps and shapes in it so this is something that gentle on my fabric it's not going to break my blankets I'm going to do any damage to it still gets me up off the ground and it's it's really soft it's like a hammock because i'm not on sticks I mean I could have put sticks all the way across this and made like a wreath bed but now i'm actually on all those sticks whereas this is just nice smooth blanket free flowing in the air that just molds to my body go on my side it's nice and comfortable and go on my back I don't to worry about that and because it's so level it's better than a hammock because I find that a hammock you know your feet in your head or higher than your waist and I find that my knees get fatigued throughout the night you know I really have a hard time cific comfortable in a hammock so this really it's just a awesome option so give it a shot see if you like it to this invention in survival school sure to check out our website and its vile calm and as always draw the outdoors you
