a submission native survival will rack up a squirrel hide today to stop processing it stay tuned all right so I have scroll hide in my truck wrapped in a bandana

so we're going to make a rack side up we can stop processing it you can stop working it i forgot i need any special here I want to just grab this oak laying on the ground tip and get my four sides out of this the first thing is I'm going to lay out my hide it's like an sighs okay so by laying the hideout like this I can lay this piece of oak across see figure out where I want to break it to size up the frame probably do see something like this a little bigger it's probably break it right here I'll work beautiful all right so I don't really want to use nice pieces of power cord and cut them all up and all that so I just have these kind of random bits that have been cut for other reasons throughout the years you know I don't just throw away cord because it's smaller because you never know you know all these pieces are maybe 3 feet something like that so I'm going to just choose some of these and I'll use these two to make my last inks on the corners okay so second square lashing let's start with a close pitch again I like to start on my square lashes now I find by I find by just just doing the right knots right lashings I'm supposed to like a square lash really makes a big difference see tighten it up quality just better ok so I'm going to put the clove hitch right next to the piece I'm working on and what I really far away are next to it I'm just going to go underneath over I'm going to go underneath come up this side over again and just repeat the pattern will do that twice I'm working with limited cordage so I really can't go around four or five times that's twice and I'm going to fraps I'm frapping again instead of going on sticks I'm going to go around the cordage like this in a circle and it just draws the quarters together makes it really tight just like thats metal right around so now when I pull this tight the ropes pulled tighter on the sticks see that now to finish it off I'll put a another clue pitching usually do it on a different stick than when you started on so I'll put it right here all right there's my ending coltishall start with a clove hitch I do my square lashing do my shopping and with a clove hitch that's a proper 90 degree lash so I'm going to just put a hole in the hide alright

ok I'm going to tie that to the rack little simple

ok so that's tight I can suspend my I hide and I'm going to go to the opposite side do the same ok now I don't want to be too tight cuz there's a high dries it's going to shrink so I'm gonna have a little bit of play in there look

okay keep moving on all right guys I know it's a little dark but here's a scroll hi it all racked out beautiful look and hide so I just need to scrape off the fat and the blood clean it off a little bit and just improve its ability to dry a little bit better but it's very good to go it's right it's going to dry out and that way we can utilize the hyatt as well to mention a to survive appreciate views your comms new support see in the next one take care
