got a nice little toasty fire going so down in the teens right now we have definitely the wind kicking up it's gotten real windy in the last 20 minutes so it's got a little fire puttering away and get some logs on there kicking off some good heat just been working on my bow a little bit and working on my sleep set up making sure it's come some more wind

just you know organizing my soup set up a little bit making sure it's going to be good to go when it's time to bed down so I just tied a rock into the top two half hitches taut line hitch to a ridge line going to that tree going to another tree gets the job done so now i just opened up all that floor space yes and i have that whole floor to myself massive excellent okay so I'm just get my bed ready and I use an old feather sleeping bag canvas on the outside feather on the inside and just keep it inside a bivy keep it dry ice use the military sleep system baby so that's why so I rock it better canvas and gore tex bitty

I'll just fluffin it off it's a center seam mummy overlapping is rated to minus 20 it's actually an old military bag so that's a real rating it's not a some consumer you know designed cancino designed for consumers type of number when the military says that something can perform to a certain level they mean it so that's why I like this bag because I know it can really go down to minus 20 so I sleep like a million bucks in this bag I mean I really I'm just out I'm just out I never wake up like another night or anything like that it's like last time I slept then it was six hours straight just done nice and warm I've slept in zero zero temps and Damon on my pants on really warm my nose hairs we're all ice that I was toasty warm in my bag so yeah it's nice to take a load off just relax in the middle of making a bow made some pretty good progress on it starting to flex still a lot of work left the pea sized I used was not very close to finished size so I've had a lot of material to reduce from it but um been using my new knife a lot today real lot made feather sticks and carving a bow I've taken something taken down saplings with it I've done tons of stuff with it so real happy with it so it's really performing well it's done everything I've wanted to no problem and the edge is just as sharp as it was very sharp so good times so yeah just landed my teepee for a couple minutes probably go back out and carve on my my new beau for a little while see if I can make a bow out of it my niece Dave I mean and place my bet is here and when I'm completely crashed out I can just hit my sleeping bag and lights out so my beds all set good to go
