hey doing this is mitchell tornado survival school I'm out here on a little snowshoe scout at a new spot or land I've never been on before let's check it out

now this trail of white-tailed deer is very recent this was this morning you can tell because the forest floor top of the snow gets all this debris on this powdered dirt that just kind of floats around hasn't happened yet is the groove where the hoofs scraped on the deer step down good way to age tracks you can see it over here as well or the inside of the tracks still clean went off in that direction up over that burn there's a trail right here going down it splits at this tree one fork comes right in front of me and heads up that hill while the other fork of the trail heads over and up around the hill that way if you could spot to hunt deer ID on top of this hill they seem to like to skirt the outsides of it be a nice spot for an ambush right there seems to be pretty much all hardwoods down here in the middle running off in this direction it's a little stream it's a lot of hills and rock outcroppings it's beautiful so check this out this is the whitetail deer trail going up that way check out this ambush spot follow the tracks right here look at this look at that easily climb up there and just sit up there with your bow I mean the deer walk right past it just tracks all around it tracks everywhere leaning tree like that it's a great way to get above their eyesight that's a nice snow showers today

one thing I've noticed is there's a lot of crab apple here in these woods it's a crabapple right here here's another right there there's some smaller crabapple saplings also notice there's a lot of grape in the area this is grape vine in front of me a lot of food in these woods been out here for a while now it's a nice little spot of land I like it it's got a water source let's go out a very terrain varied levels seen a lot of tracks see some food a lot of firewood seems like a pretty good place to camp out started selling a few minutes ago let's put on my rain gear really important when doing physical work snowshoeing through the woods hiking keep up on your water I like these woods I'm definitely gonna be coming back here checked it out on map and it's pretty large yeah it's probably a couple thousand acre tamers it's also a pond further in looking forward to checking that out as well this has been mixed with the native survival school for sure to check out our website and Nina survival calm and as always enjoy the outdoors
