Oh

Oh

big crossing this time last year Melton fell in this went down way to go 25 from whatever them

have to scout this out Oh

Oh

halfway

they're very serious crossing very intense

there in time the process last year I did in my boots on

definitely not a joke and now what dude now what yeah further up over here a man is a path

making a run for it savage oh my goodness

whoa whoa

mag me

he's almost done yeah I can tell it's freezing well he made it so he made it Tusken Raider

sir was insane good times all right so we just did a couple stream crossings river crossings at this point pretty gnarly stuff hi to put my camera in a dry bag just in case when the drink which I did not ended up jumping across rocks about three quarters and walking a rest on the worst river to cross waters up to my knees that's you bad the spot that I chose shallow spot I could fine we put some miles down we do them well cranking along

going alongside the river this trail follows it and will bring us to the base of Mount owl head my River will be right beside us the whole way then we're going to make our campsite all rights now I've got one more river crossing

trying to find a campsite and all over there is all flat land up there straight up it's my all hood tough terrain a lot of work so it's in the 40s right now so I was putting on some really thick warm wool socks love wearing these to bed alright so here's my towel head we're camped right about here which is next to ascension path goes up to the top as you can see half the afraid to the top this is a 4,000 foot so overall started here went through a lot of wilderness now we're up here

about eight miles of trails absolutely tons of river crossings just in San mouths I don't know maybe eight river crossings probably hear a river right now in the background where camp right next to the river this with it right here so long day aight aight aight good i'll show you guys any of it because i was just beat i just want to eat and get my tent and go to bed I'm just exhausted it's crazy how tired I am yesterday I was up 23 hours and then I slept 45 minutes before coming here I mean insanity so i left my house at four in the morning when we started driving up here and it's a long ride you know four hours or something three and a half four hours so we did that and then we've been hiking since 930 I got into camp at six-thirty so we put in a full day hiking and I did that on 45 minutes sleep and the day before was up to 23 hours and i'm getting over a cold right now so yeah definitely earning this one pretty intense

tomorrow we have a little walk and we're going to reach trailhead for the ascension of owl head we'd never climbed a low head so we're really looking forward to it so we can gain that mountain 4000 footer the Ascension is really intense very steep it's 1,400 feet fourteen hundred foot climb get to the top it's not very gradual it could be worse obviously there are more contour lines like say over here that a far more stacked but 1,400 feet straight shot just straight up it's going to be a good climb you probably take us three hours up two hours down take us an hour to get to the trailhead an hour to get back from our camp you know looking at seven hours tomorrow just to climb the mountain and then we have to start heading back see how much ground we can make if any before we settle down a camp because the last day some day we have to hike all the way out to our car so pretty and pretty so pretty intense stuff section of wilderness is just massive this is a zoomed-in map that I made basically just made it around I'll head so it's a really cool place tons of cool mountains to do a lot of great trails it's absolutely key to have a map you don't go 10 miles 12 miles straight into the wilderness climbing mountains and everything else without a map you just don't do it key key piece of equipment all right well I'm beat I'm going to go to sleep and before i crash I'm going to just read a little bit just get my waterproof New Testament english standard version great place to read the Word of God is in the wilderness and they get better than that see you guys small
