hey is Mitch in aid of survival and today I'm going to be making a charred material to cut your spark and instead of using cloth for our char cloth i'm going to use cattail fluff so will be charged cattail because obviously i can find cattail a lot easier than cloth in the woods and i'm not going to cutting up my clothes if I'm in a Cell fly a self-reliant situation okay and what I like to use is these little metal tins let's attach them to my sheets bridge bands put a hole in the top so have a nice little chart in attached to my sheath ok so I'm going to fill it up some cattail fluff that should be plenty I'll hold on to this just get my cover alright close it up and my throat and fire all right and it goes right on a number so we'll give that a few minutes we'll start smoking and i'll get back to you okay so you can see it's starting to smoke so I'm going to let that run until it stops smoking and I'm going to pull it off it's that simple okay so stop smoking so I'm going to go ahead and pull it off alright so I'm going to let it cool down and we'll see if it will catch a spark show you guys close up with the material looks like alright so as you can see it's still fibber asst like cattail you can pull it apart you'll still kind of have that fluffiness to it but it's like a solid cake I'm sorry I wasn't exactly in the frame apologize for that it's like a solid cake but at the same time you can still pull it up and fluff it up see what i can do that a little bit yeah just like that alright let's see if we can guide and catch a spark on this alright i'm sure you guys can see us here we have it shark at sale all right let's Ben mission data survival appreciate your views comments and support and again i really think that being able to make charred material that can catch a spark out of something natural you can find in the woods is a key component of self-reliance I'll see in the next one take care
