Oh

this mission is survival today I'm going to try to go carve a quickie survival bow just my knife stay tuned okay so when I want to make a bow what I look for is saplings like this this one wouldn't be good because as rot insect damage I don't thing you want to look for our large knots that would be a problem for that one right there you can see how it even changes the would that be a problem now another thing I try to do is find saplings that are close together because if I'm using saplings like that now I'm actually helping the forest because there's no way that both of those trees are going to grow really happy like that not going to be huge I mean it is possible that's how you get tree crotches and stuff like that you know like those trees right over there two of them but it's really not ideal it's really not ideal so by taking one of these out then the other one has all the nutrients that right now they're sharing has all the space and the sunlight that right now they're sharing now this one on the right looks promising it looks promising I'm going to take a look at it and see if it's going to work for me now the reason why it's promising is that although it has some sneaking has some s curves and things it looks like they meet back up in the middle and that is the determining factor

if you look at sapling it has all these curves as long as you have a spot and it curves and then eventually they line up it curves in there's another spot in the middle where it's kind of straight where you can put your knocks if you can visualize where your knocks are going to be then you're good to go so I'm looking at the sapling right now and it looks like I guess I'm curving here but I can put a knot right here and I would think of a straight line it looks like it lines up around here somewhere so towards the bottom and right in that section right up there before forks would be a good spot to put not to knock so now let's put a rope on it and see if it lines up and see if it is true and there the Rope is actually staying center

so if my knock was right there my string would pass in and out of Center and we reach center again if my knock was right there but now where would my hand will be well may be right about here somewhere in this region I can make my handle anywhere in here and a string is almost perfectly center that's pretty good that's pretty good see I don't want to put my handle here see how off it is but as I move down it gets sent around there so as long as my center point is truly roughly about center of the bow roughly and the string is about center at that point and my knocks lineup and it doesn't matter what else is going on it will shoot you
